Garrett went 1-for-2 with a grand slam in Tuesday's 10-5 loss to the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Though Garrett had been making most of his appearances as a pinch hitter lately, he received the start in left Tuesday and left his mark on the contest early, giving the Nationals a 4-1 lead in the first by hitting a grand slam off Tommy Henry. The long ball was Garrett's second of the season, but his first since April 8. He has struggled to earn a steady role in Washington's outfield when the group is at full health but has benefitted from injuries to Corey Dickerson, and more recently Victor Robles (back).

Garrett is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Garrett will take a seat for the third time in five games, with all three absences coming versus right-handed pitchers. He looks as though he could occupy the short side of a platoon in left field with Jake Alu until the Nationals return at least one of Victor Robles (back) or Corey Dickerson (calf) from the injured list.

Garrett is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
After opening the season on a six-game hitting streak while going a collective 11-for-23, Garrett went hitless with four strikeouts in six plate appearances over his most recent two starts. The 27-year-old had noticed a surge in playing time of late with five starts in a stretch of six games, but he still appears to be viewed as the Nationals' No. 4 outfielder behind Lane Thomas, Victor Robles and Alex Call.

Garrett is starting in left field and batting seventh for the Nationals in Wednesday's game against the Orioles, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
With right-hander Kyle Bradish on the mound for the O's, it marks Garrett's third straight start against a righty. Garrett has been extremely productive versus righties and lefties during his limited chances, going 10-for-19 with one home run, three doubles and four RBI.

Garrett went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Guardians.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old has been used sparingly since being called up at the beginning of April, but Garrett has produced when given the chance, collecting at least one hit in all four of his starts and batting .563 (9-for-16) with three doubles and a homer. Alex Call, his main competition for playing time in left field right now, has a paltry .614 OPS on the season, so Garrett's opportunities should be on the rise.

Garrett went 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, two total runs and five total RBI in Saturday's win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Garrett was recalled from Triple-A last Sunday and got his second start of the season Saturday. The second-year big-leaguer seized the opportunity, setting career highs with four hits and five RBI to lead Washington to the win. Garrett tallied 32 homers, 106 RBI and 18 steals between the minors and majors last season, so there is certainly potential for some fantasy value. It remains to be seen how much playing time the Nationals will afford him, however.

Washington recalled Garrett on Sunday from Triple-A Rochester, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Garrett is the replacement for Corey Dickerson, who is heading to the injured list with a left calf sprain. The outfielder performed well in a 27-game sample with the Diamondbacks last year with an .848 OPS over 84 plate appearances. He could see some playing time in the corner outfield while Dickerson is on the mend.
