Neuse went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run during a win over the Tigers in the second game of a doubleheader on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Neuse hit safely for the fifth time in the last six games in Tuesday's win, but the three outs he made came via strikeout, a reminder of one aspect of the 27-year-old's game that still needs improvement. Neuse now sports a 28.6 percent strikeout rate across 29 games, yet he's still offering fantasy managers plenty via his .291 average, .388 on-base percentage and four stolen bases across 112 plate appearances.

Neuse went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI in Tuesday's 10-7 loss to the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Neuse singled and scored in the first inning, singled again in the seventh and doubled home a run and scored in the 10th for his fourth three-hit game of the season already. The unproven 27-year-old still ranks among the league leaders in hits, average and OBP and while advanced stats like a .417 BABIP and .279 xBA point to a decline, that doesn't mean Neuse won't continue to play well.

Neuse went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Guardians.
EDGE Analysis
He took Shane Bieber deep in the fifth inning to get Oakland on the board, but it was all the offense the tram could muster. Neuse has taken over the starting third base job by slashing .328/.394/.469 through 19 games with two homers, three steals, seven runs and 13 RBI.

Neuse went 3-for-5 with a triple and three RBI in a 9-8 loss to the Guardians on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Neuse singled in the second and fourth innings, plating a run on the latter, and tripled home two more runs in the sixth for his third three-hit game of the season. The 27-year-old will remain an everyday player as long as he continues a hit, though his .328 average is due for regression as Neuse possesses an extremely high .442 BABIP.

Neuse went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two stolen bases in an 8-2 loss to San Francisco on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Neuse singled and stole second in each of his first two at-bats, knocking in Oakland's first run on the latter. The pair of steals gives the 27-year-old three on the season, though he was never a big threat in the minors with a high of 14 coming in 117 games in 2017 across three levels. Neuse is delivering in his first shot at consistent playing time, with a .327/.397/.404 slash line while appearing in all but two games for Oakland.

Neuse went 3-4 with a double and two RBI in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Neuse knocked in his seventh and eighth RBI of the season with two singles, and one of them was his first two-out RBI of the campaign. With multiple position players in the COVID-19 protocol and Kevin Smith (ankle) on the 10-day injured list, Neuse's role at third base seems secure for the short term.

Neuse will start at third base and bat second in Wednesday's game against the Orioles, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuse is picking up his 10th consecutive start Wednesday, and he should be fairly secure in an everyday role in the short term with three position players (Stephen Piscotty, Chad Pinder and Jed Lowrie) on the COVID-19 injured list and outfielder Ramon Laureano still serving his suspension. In the longer term, Neuse's playing-time outlook also appears strong after his main competition for reps at third base, Kevin Smith (ankle), was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday. Neuse had already soundly outperformed Smith with a .782 OPS in 34 plate appearances to the latter's .438 mark in 33 plate appearances.

Neuse went 2-for-3 with an RBI single, a walk and a run in a win over the Orioles on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Neuse singled home Christian Bethancourt in the sixth inning to extend the Athletics' lead to 3-1 at the time. The 27-year-old snapped a brief 1-for-8 funk with his second multi-hit effort of the campaign, and he's sporting an impressive .308/.400/.423 slash line across his first 30 plate appearances while already having logged time at each infield spot except shortstop.

Neuse went 3-for-5 with a grand slam and an additional run scored in Monday's 13-2 rout of Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Neuse was already having a standout game when he stepped to the plate with two outs and the bases loaded in the ninth inning, as he had notched his first two hits and first run of the campaign earlier in the contest. The utilityman then sweetened his stat line significantly with his first career grand slam off outfielder-turned-temporary-reliever Brett Phillips. The blast gave Neuse his first four RBI of the campaign -- a total equal to the amount he recorded in 66 plate appearances with the Dodgers last season.

Neuse went 2-for-2 with a grand slam in a Cactus League win over the Padres on Sunday, raising his spring average to .379 across 31 at-bats.
EDGE Analysis
Neuse's fourth home run of spring came in the eighth inning to put the finishing touches on Oakland's victory, and in the process, likely his bid for an Opening Day roster spot as well. Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports manager Mark Kotsay is clearly taken with the 27-year-old's all-around performance in camp. "There's some confidence at the plate right now," Kotsay said. "You can see it in his pitch selection. His at-bats. Defensively, he's made all the plays. He is more athletic than I think he was when he was here before."
