Oakland Athletics outfielder Seth Brown was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas, according to MLB.com. The move clears the way for Ka'ai Tom to make the Opening Day roster for Oakland. Tom was one of the most electrifying players in A's camp while Brown batted just .226 across 38 plate appearances in Cactus League play. Brown has played 33 games for Oakland over the last two seasons and is yet to homer with just one stolen base. He can safely be left on waivers in fantasy leagues.
