Washington Nationals closer Sean Doolittle (toe) was able to throw off the mound on Friday. He has been sidelined since July 6 with left toe inflammation. There is still no timetable for Doolittle's return, however, it appears as if he'll be able to return in the next week or so with no long-term repercussions.
