Sammy Solis (back) felt good while throwing a bullpen session Thursday.
Solis hasn't pitched in a game since March 2 because of back spasms, but it sounds like he's close to returning. The 25-year-old made it back from Tommy John surgery last season and posted a 3.32 ERA and 43/19 K/BB ratio over 59 2/3 innings between rookie ball and High-A Potomac. He could work his way to the majors before long.
