The Rangers activated Haggerty (ankle) from the 10-day injured list Friday, and he'll bat leadoff and DH in Friday's game against Atlanta, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haggerty will return to the active roster after missing the minimum 10 days on the injured list due to ankle inflammation. The 31-year-old is slashing .250/.329/.375 in 144 plate appearances this season. Cody Freeman was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move.

Haggerty (ankle) ran at about 70-percent speed Monday and took live batting practice Tuesday, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haggerty, who was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday, is expected to do some sprinting Wednesday and appears to be trending toward activation this weekend. Cody Freeman and Michael Helman have helped fill Haggerty's role as a right-handed bench bat.

The Rangers placed Haggerty on the 10-day injured list Friday with left ankle inflammation, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haggerty has gone 4-for-16 with four runs scored and a stolen base in eight games since the start of July. His ankle will now cause him to spend at least 10 days on the IL, and the Rangers will promote Cody Freeman to fill the void on the active roster.

Haggerty went 1-for-3 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Haggerty made use of his speed after reaching on an error in the first inning. He went from first to third on Marcus Semien's single and then scored on a Framber Valdez wild pitch. Haggerty showed off more speed with a double and a steal of third in the third inning. The utility player is up to nine steals on 11 attempts this year, and he's added three triples as he continues to make an impact with his running. He's been fine with the bat as well, hitting .254 with a .714 OPS, two home runs, 11 RBI and 25 runs scored across 142 plate appearances.

Haggerty is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
After picking up starts in the first two games of the series, Haggerty will hit the bench for the finale while Billy McKinney, Alejandro Osuna and Adolis Garcia comprise the Texas outfield from left to right. Until the Rangers get Evan Carter (personal) back from the bereavement list and Wyatt Langford (oblique) back from the injured list, the Rangers will have two spots in the outfield available for Haggerty, Osuna and McKinney. Since the beginning of June, Haggerty has produced a .736 OPS with four steals, one home run and six RBI over 72 plate appearances.

Haggerty is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Though he's on the bench against a right-handed pitcher (Luis Castillo) for the second day in a row, the switch-hitting Haggerty should benefit from an uptick in opportunities with Jake Burger (oblique), Wyatt Langford (oblique) and Joc Pederson (hand) all on the injured list. Alejandro Osuna has been serving as Langford's primary replacement in left field, but Haggerty could get most of the opportunities at designated hitter until the Rangers get healthy. Over his last 10 games, Haggerty has gone 9-for-29 (.310) with two extra-base hits, seven walks, seven runs, two RBI and three stolen bases.

Haggerty entered Tuesday's game as a pinch hitter and stole three bases in a 6-5 extra-inning win over Baltimore. He went 0-for-1 with a walk and an RBI.
EDGE Analysis
Haggerty was vital to the Rangers' win. He walked in the eighth, stole two bases and scored the game-tying run that set up the extra inning. In the 10th, his fielder's choice brought home the game-winning run. Haggerty's been on a bit of roll lately, going 8-for-20 (.400) with two extra-base hits, one RBI, five walks, three steals and four runs over the last seven games. The three steals give him eight through 35 games this season. The switch hitter is usually in the starting lineup against lefties and will fill in when needed against righties.

Haggerty started in left field and went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Haggerty made a second consecutive start in left field in place of Wyatt Langford (back). It was the third start over the last four games for Haggerty, who's gone 5-for-12 with a triple, three walks and three runs scored during that span. Langford was apparently available as a pinch hitter Saturday, which suggests a possible return to action Sunday against lefty Bailey Falter. As Haggerty typically replaces Evan Carter against southpaws, he should be in Sunday's starting nine whether Langford returns or not.

Haggerty started in left field and batted leadoff, going 3-for-5 with a triple and a run scored in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
With usual leadoff batter Josh Smith (hamstring) not available and Evan Carter held out of the starting nine against a left-hander (Kris Bubic), Haggerty filled in for both players. Haggerty has been respectable for fantasy purposes, slashing .265/.315/.434 with five steals, two doubles, three triples, two home runs, nine RBI and 14 runs scored over 29 games. The issue is the sporadic nature of his playing time, as Wednesday's start was just his second in the last eight contests.

Sun 6/8/25 10:40 AM

Haggerty started in left field and went 3-for-5 with two runs scored in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Haggerty got the Rangers going early with a leadoff single two pitches into the game, before scoring the only run Texas would need. He scored a second run after leading off the eighth inning with his third single of the day. The switch-hitting Haggerty usually gets into lineups against lefties and the occasional righty. Evan Carter and Alejandro Osuna are also around for outfield duty, but neither is an ideal fit against southpaws.
