Tepera (elbow) will resume throwing in six weeks, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tepera will be shut down from throwing until mid-July after he underwent surgery on his sore right elbow Wednesday. The procedure, which shaved down a bone spur and removed a loose body in the back of his right elbow, went as planned, and the hope is that Tepera will be ready to return sometime during the second half of the season.

Tepera announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account that he underwent surgery on his sore right elbow.
EDGE Analysis
The Blue Jays classified Tepera's injury as a right elbow impingement when he was placed on the 10-day injured list last week, but the setback was more significant than the big club initially implied. According to Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca, Tepera's procedure was similar to the one Boston's Nathan Eovaldi required in late April to remove loose bodies from his elbow. Eovaldi was projected to require a 4-to-6-week recovery following that procedure, and Toronto manager Charlie Montoyo suggested that a similar timeline would likely be in place for Tepera. If that proves to be the case, Tepera shouldn't be expected to return until late June at the soonest.

Tepera was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right elbow impingement, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
He was on the injured list earlier this year with an elbow injury and it appears to be barking once again. Tepera will see a specialist, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports. Jimmy Cordero was summoned from the minors to take Tepera's spot in the bullpen. Consider him out indefinitely.

The Blue Jays activated Tepera (elbow) from the 10-day injured list ahead of Thursday's game against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Toronto designated fellow reliever Javy Guerra for assignment in order to clear a spot on the 25-man roster for Tepera. The right-hander was placed on the 10-day injured list at the conclusion of spring training but proved his health during a recent two-appearance rehab stint at Triple-A Buffalo. Tepera is expected to step in as a setup option for closer Ken Giles after performing capably in that capacity in 2018.

Tepera (elbow) will not be activated from the injured list Wednesday, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tepera, who has reportedly been healthy since Monday, was expected to return prior to Wednesday's game against the Twins, but it turns out he'll have to wait at least one more day before making his 2019 big-league debut. Once active, Tepera figures to fill a setup role in front of Ken Giles.
