Orioles optioned INF Ryan Adams to Triple-A Norfolk. It's long overdue. Robert Andino has drawn most of the starts at second base during Brian Roberts' absence, so Adams is much better off getting regular playing time in the minor leagues. The 24-year-old infielder went 5-for-22 (.227) with one RBI in his first taste of the big leagues.
