Stripling will be moved to the bullpen for the time being, Pedro Moura of The Athletic Los Angeles reports.
EDGE Analysis
This comes as quite the surprise given Stripling's success this season. The 28-year-old is 8-3 with a 2.62 ERA and a 121:17 K:BB in 110 innings pitched this year. With Alex Wood (hamstring) and Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) returning from the disabled list this week, there simply wasn't room for him in the rotation. Manager Dave Roberts said Stripling has earned the opportunity to start, but the bullpen needs more help right now, Moura reports. Most think that Stripling should be able to get back into the rotation before the season's end, but this does harm his value a bit in the short term.

Stripling (toe) was activated from the 10-day DL prior to Thursday's start versus Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Stripling will be back in action after missing one turn through the rotation due to a toe injury. The right-hander has started 16 games out of his 27 appearances with the Dodgers this season, logging an impressive 2.68 ERA and 1.13 WHIP with a 119:15 K:BB across 104 innings of work.

The Dodgers plan on Stripling (toe) coming off the disabled to start Thursday's game against the Rockies, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stripling won't require a minor-league rehab assignment as it looks as though he'll miss a single start with the toe injury. The 28-year-old has a 2.68 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 119:15 K:BB in 16 starts this season.

Stripling (toe) threw a simulated game Saturday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stripling is expected to come off the disabled list to start Thursday or Friday in Colorado. It doesn't appear that he'll need a rehab assignment, as he'll end up missing just a single start.

Stripling (toe) expects to come off the disabled list to start either Aug. 9 or 10 against Colorado, Pedro Moura of The Athletic Los Angeles reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stripling was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a toe injury Monday, but he shouldn't remain on the shelf for long. If all goes well, Stripling is optimistic that he'll return sometime during the Dodgers' series against the Rockies from Aug. 9-12.

Stripling was placed on the 10-day disabled list Monday due to a toe injury, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear as to when Stripling suffered the injury, but he'll be sidelined for at least 10 days, and Dylan Floro will get the call from Triple-A Oklahoma City. More news on Stripling's status should be revealed in the near future, as a timetable for his return has yet to be established.

Sripling (8-3) allowed four runs on seven hits and one walk across four innings while taking the loss Sunday against the Braves. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Stripling was touched up for two runs on three hits in the first inning before allowing a two-run home run to Nick Markakis in the third. He threw a hefty 72 percent of his pitches for strikes, but he paid the price for missing over the plate rather often. Stripling has struggled in two outings since the All-Star break, allowing nine earned runs in 8.2 innings in that span. He still has a sharp 2.68 on the season along with a sparkling 30:3 K:BB in July, so he'll look to get back on track next weekend against the Astros.

Stripling allowed one run on seven hits and a walk while striking out four over five innings in Tuesday's loss to the Cubs. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Stripling allowed just a solo home run to Javier Baez with two outs in the fifth inning, but the floodgates came off after that against the bullpen in the eventual 9-4 loss. The five innings matched the fewest he's gone in his last nine starts, as he needed 86 pitches (58 strikes) to get to that point before being lifted for a pinch-hitter in the home half of the frame. Though he struck out just four in this one, the 28-year-old finishes June with an absurd 30:1 K:BB and sits at 89:12 over 77.1 innings on the year. He'll carry a terrific 1.98 ERA into Sunday's home start against the Rockies.

Stripling (6-1) got the win against the Giants on Friday, giving up two earned runs on four hits over 6.1 innings, striking out six and walking none as the Dodgers won 3-2.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander continues to dominate, as he racked up a sixth straight victory with his latest stellar effort. He's fully earned his 6-1 record, as he's posting absurd numbers to the tune of a microscopic 1.76 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP through 66.1 innings. Perhaps most impressively, he's demonstrating impeccable command, as Stripling has posted a phenomenal 57:4 K:BB since May 6. He'll look to continue his lights-out ways in his next start, which will see him take the mound in a road matchup against the Cubs on Wednesday.

Stripling (3-1) struck out nine and held the Phillies to just one run on four hits and two walks through seven innings to pick up the win Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Stripling now has an absurd 28 strikeouts over his last three starts, with at least nine in each. All three, not coincidentally, have been wins. Ever since he was moved into the rotation in May, Stripling has been brilliant, with a 40:4 K:BB and 1.24 ERA over 29 innings of work. Stripling induced at least three swinging strikes with all four of his pitches (four-seamer, changeup, slider and knuckle-curve), and that kind of diverse arsenal is tough for any hitter to deal with. Stripling's next turn will come Tuesday against the Pirates.
