Ray has been out since the end of April, and will likely miss a few more weeks as he ramps up his recovery. There's no timetable for Ray to begin actual baseball activities, to it's encouraging to see him workout in some capacity. Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Robbie Ray was placed on the 10-day disabled list Monday with an oblique strain. There currently isn't a timetable for Ray's return, however he should be expected to miss at least his next few starts. Ray had pitched to a 2-0 record with a 4.88 ERA and a 45/17 K/BB ratio prior to the injury. There's no word on who will take Ray's spot in the rotation, but a player like Braden Shipley could make for a nice streaming option if he gets the call.
