Robbie Ray Faces Tough Matchup on Monday rotoballer.com Mon 6/3/19 11:12 AM
Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Robbie Ray will be tested on Monday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ray had a mediocre outing against Los Angeles earlier in the season, allowing three runs in five innings to go along with nine strikeouts. The southpaw will face the red-hot Dodgers at home in a pitcher-friendly Chase Field, but this Dodgers team still sports one of the hottest offenses in all of baseball. Don't expect too much from Ray this evening.

Robbie Ray Gets Rematch With Giants on Friday rotoballer.com Fri 5/24/19 10:39 AM
Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Robbie Ray will toe the rubber against the San Francisco Giants on Friday night. Ray struggled in his last outing against the Giants, but will face them at pitcher-friendly Oracle Park tonight. The D-backs lefty has been a great source of strikeouts this season and has done well to keep his ERA at a reasonable spot (3.25). As always with Ray, being efficient with his pitches will likely determine whether he is out there long enough to qualify for a win.

Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Jung Ho Kang (oblique) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. Kang hasn't been hitting well this season, so it's probably not the worst thing in the world to give him some rest. Kevin Newman will draw the start at third base and bat seventh versus lefty Robbie Ray on Monday. Colin Moran figures to draw the starts at third base against right-handed pitching.
