EDGE Analysis
Porcello was in great shape heading into the sixth inning with only two runs allowed, but he was charged with four runs in his final frame to tank his pitching line. It's the third straight start he's surrendered at least five runs. The 30-year-old enters the All-Star break with a 5.33 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 81:31 K:BB in 18 starts.

Porcello (5-7) allowed five runs on eight hits with four walks and two strikeouts while taking a loss against the Blue Jays on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old hadn't walked four batters in an outing since April 13. That's also the last time Porcello struck out as few as two hitters, so he was in rare bad form Sunday. He also induced just eight swinging strikes and permitted eight hits, which was two shy of a season high. Porcello falls to 5-7 with this result; he also owns a 4.52 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 76 strikeouts in 93.2 innings this season. He will make his next start in London against the Yankees next Sunday.

Porcello forced 12 swinging strikes and only allowed five baserunners in the dominant performance. He pounded the zone with 68 strikes out of his 94 pitches. The 30-year old has a 5-6 record with a 4.31 ERA through 15 starts this season. Porcello will look to keep it going in his next start Saturday against the Blue Jays.

Porcello allowed two runs on five hits while striking out six over 6.2 innings in a no-decision against the Rangers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Porcello put the Red Sox in an early hole, giving up a two-run, first-inning double to Hunter Pence, but settled in after that. He retired the next 15 batters and 18 of the final 20 he faced. The right-hander had allowed 14 runs over his three previous outings before turning in Wednesday's quality start. Next up for Porcello is a road matchup against the Twins on Monday.

Porcello (4-5) took the loss Friday as the Red Sox were downed 5-1 by the Rays. He gave up four runs on eight hits and a walk and struck out four over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
It was a typical Porcello outing, as the right-hander attacked the strike zone without fooling many batters, managing only six swinging strikes among his 100 pitches (68 total strikes). He'll take a 4.86 ERA -- his highest mark since 2015 -- and 60:24 K:BB through 74 innings into his next start Wednesday, at home against the Rangers.

Porcello (4-5) took the loss Saturday against the Yankees by allowing five runs on nine hits over 4.2 innings. He struck out five and walked one.
EDGE Analysis
Porcello gave up only one extra-base hit Saturday but it proved to be a costly one as Gary Sanchez's two-run homer in the fifth inning proved to be the difference in the game. The outing breaks a string of eight consecutive starts of at least five innings for the 30-year-old. Porcello carries a 4.76 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 56:23 K:BB through 68 innings heading into Thursday's start at Kansas City.

Porcello (4-4) gave up five runs (three earned) on eight hits and three walks while striking out four through 6.2 innings to get the win against the Indians on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Porcello ran into trouble right out of the gate as he allowed three runs in the first three innings, but settled down to give the Red Sox a chance to get him his fourth win. While he doesn't strike out many batters, he delivered his seventh consecutive outing of six or more innings. The 30-year-old has a 4.41 ERA and a 7.3 K/9 through 11 starts this season. Porcello will make his next start Saturday against the Yankees.

Porcello didn't factor into the decision in Wednesday's 6-5 extra-innings win over the Blue Jays, allowing one run on three hits over six innings while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
A Vlad Guerrero Jr. homer in the fourth inning was the only blemish on the right-hander's ledger, but he missed his chance at his fourth win of the year when Marcus Walden blew the save in the ninth. Porcello will carry a 4.45 ERA and 47:19 K:BB through 56.2 innings into his next start Monday, at home against Cleveland.

Porcello (3-4) allowed two runs on six hits with three strikeouts and one walk across seven-plus innings while taking a loss against the Astros on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander permitted baserunners to reach scoring position in just two of the first seven frames, but to open the eighth, Porcello allowed a double and home run. He exited after that, but his night was already ruined, as he coughed up a one-run lead. Just as it's been the last few years, Porcello has experienced difficulties keeping the ball in the park in 2019. He owns a 1.6 HR/9 through nine starts, which is only slightly better than his 1.7 HR/9 he posted in 2017 when he led the league with 38 homers allowed. His FIP also sits at 4.96, which is the highest of his career. Porcello is 3-4 with a 4.80 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 43 strikeouts in 50.2 innings this season. He will start next at the Blue Jays on Wednesday.
