Alonso went 2-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
His fifth-inning shot off Blake Snell was Alonso's sixth homer in 13 games to begin the season. The first baseman is batting .250 (12-for-48) with 12 RBI and 11 runs scored, and he seems intent on not just reaching 40 homers as he did in 2022, but matching or topping the career-high 53 he slugged as a rookie in 2019.

Alonso went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 5-2 victory over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Alonso extended the Mets' lead to 3-0 with a two-run blast off Miami starter Trevor Rogers. That's already the fifth homer of the season for the first baseman, and he's up to 10 RBI on the year in just nine games. Alonso is only hitting .235 but has still provided plenty of production to managers who used an early pick on him in fantasy drafts.

Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's 9-3 win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The first baseman launched a solo shot off Daniel Castano in the eighth inning to cap the scoring on the afternoon for the Mets. Alonso is batting only .226 (7-for-31) to begin the season, but four of those hits left the yard and he has eight RBI in eight games.

Alonso went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Wednesday's 7-6 loss to the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Both blasts came off Corbin Burnes, as Alonso launched two-run shots off the Milwaukee ace in the third and fifth innings. The first baseman is only batting .192 (5-for-26) through seven games but four of his hits have gone for extra bases, including three homers.

Alonso went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
All three runs in the game came on solo shots, with Alonso launching his first long ball of the season in the ninth inning off A.J. Puk. The slugging first baseman hit 40 home runs in 2022 and is up to 147 through 532 games in his big-league career, and given that he already has a 53-homer campaign on his resume, it's not out of the question the 28-year-old will be chasing 200 late in the season.

Alonso went 2-for-3 with a walk, a three-run home run and a stolen base in Friday's Grapefruit League game against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
His third-inning blast off Luis Patino gave Alonso his fourth homer of the spring, but the steal was his first. The first baseman appears ready for Opening Day, having posted a .286/.394/.714 slash line in 34 plate appearances this spring. Alonso will take aim at his third career 40-homer campaign in 2023.

Alonso went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's split-squad game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The slugging first baseman got an early start to his spring as he gears up for the World Baseball Classic, but Alonso already appeared to be in midseason form Saturday when he crushed a Braxton Garrett offering over the wall in center field in the second inning. Alonso launched 40 homers in 2022 -- the second time in his four-year MLB career he's reached that mark -- with a career-high 131 RBI, and he figures to be a major source of power again this season while hitting in the heart of a potent Mets lineup.

Alonso isn't starting Wednesday against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Alonso is riding a five-game hitting streak in which he's gone 6-for-15 with three runs and four walks. However, he'll get a breather for Wednesday's regular-season finale while James McCann takes over at first base and bats eighth.

Alonso went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
He got the Mets on the board by taking Pablo Lopez deep in the fourth inning, but the Mets were already in a 4-0 hole at that point. Alonso has homered in three straight games and five of the last seven, driving in an incredible 16 runs during that power surge. In addition to now holding the franchise's single-season record for RBI at 131, the 27-year-old has recorded his second career campaign with at least 40 home runs.

Alonso went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double, three runs and five RBI during Sunday's 13-4 victory over Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Alonso singled and scored in the first inning, connected on a two-run homer in the fourth, singled in the sixth and knocked a bases-loaded double in the eighth for his second four-hit game of the campaign. The 27-year-old has been on a power binge of late with four long balls in his last six games -- batting 8-for-24 during the stretch -- and eight in September. The five-RBI performance pulls Alonso into a tie with Aaron Judge for the MLB lead with 128.
