In seven appearances since his demotion from Toronto to Triple-A Buffalo on June 13, Venditte has posted a 1.74 ERA with 12 strikeouts over 10.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Venditte has improved his ERA in all seven outings since returning, and has it down to a season-low 3.09 in Buffalo. He's been called to the bigs a few times this season, but hasn't done much to earn himself a permanent gig up there. In eight games this season with the Blue Jays, Venditte posted a 5.19 ERA and 1.73 WHIP. It's unclear whether his recent success will earn him another shot with Toronto.

Venditte was optioned to Triple-A on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Venditte had been getting knocked around since his callup, posting a 5.19 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in his eight relief appearances. His 7.27 K/9 and 4.15 BB/9 are very poor for a reliever, and he will now head back to Triple-A to sort things out, while Scott Diamond steps into his role in the bullpen.

Venditte was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Venditte hasn't seen much of a difference in performance this season between the majors and the minors in terms of ERA, but the reliever has struck out 23 in 13 innings compared to just four walks at the Triple-A level. The switch pitcher will likely be deployed in lower-leverage situations until he can show consistent success at the big league level. Infielder Matt Dominguez was designated for assignment in a corresponding roster move.

EDGE Analysis
Venditte will head back to Triple-A to make room for Devon Travis on the big league roster. The 30-year-old had a 4.05 ERA and 1.95 WHIP in his short bullpen stint with the Blue Jays.

Venditte was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Blue Jays bullpen in shambles due to injuries, they decided to being back Venditte after three straight scoreless appearances with the Bisons. He'll likely act as one of the main left-handers in the bullpen considering Brett Cecil, Franklin Morales, and Aaron Loup are all the on the disabled list. To make room for him in the bullpen, right-hander Dustin Antolin was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo.

Venditte was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, Barry Davis of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
The switch-pitching Venditte made five appearances during his most recent stint with the big league club, but he struggled to keep runners off base with a 2.45 WHIP over 3.2 innings of work. The Blue Jays will replace him in the bullpen with hard-throwing righty Ryan Tepera, who tops out in the mid-90s as opposed to Venditte's mid-80s heater.

Venditte was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, Barry Davis of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Venditte has appeared in two innings for the Bisons and has struck out five batters, which warranted a callup when the Blue Jays were in need of a left-hander to replace Aaron Loup and Franklin Morales. The switch-pitcher will likely slot into a middle-relief role while also taking a fair amount of matchups with left-handed batters. In a corresponding move, Arnold Leon was designated for assignment.

Venditte will open the season in the minors, the Toronto Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Venditte and his intriguing switch-pitching style made a run at a roster spot this spring with 8.1 scoreless innings, but there simply was not enough room for him in the bullpen. He could be an option for the big club at some point this season.

Venditte was claimed off waivers Monday by the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Venditte made his major league debut this season, working to a 4.40 ERA in 26 appearances. He won't be eligible to be activated onto the Blue Jays' postseason roster, but he should have the opportunity to earn a major league roster spot next season in spring training.

Venditte (1-2) earned his first career win on Sunday, allowing just one hit in two innings against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Venditte took over in the 10th inning, after a ninth inning rally by the Diamondbacks tied the game. He struck out Jake Lamb to begin the inning and then effectively silenced the rest of the Arizona order in his two innings, benefiting from a three-run explosion from the A's in the top of the 11th to pick up the win.
