Trout (elbow) is expected to be in the lineup Friday for the Angels, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout exited Thursday's game after suffering an elbow contusion. However, manager Joe Maddon told reporters after the game that he believes Trout will be able to play Friday, unless something changes overnight. Regardless, it appears that Trout avoided serious injury, a relief for one of the brightest stars of the game.

Trout was diagnosed with a left elbow contusion Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Trout took a fastball off of his left elbow in the fourth inning. He remained in the contest for one additional frame, but was eventually taken out. It's unclear whether the injury will cause him to miss time, but it doesn't appear that he will be sidelined for an extended amount of game action.

Trout exited Thursday's contest in the fifth inning after being hit by a pitch on his elbow, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout was hit by a fastball in the fourth inning and was tended to by trainers for a couple minutes. He remained in the game and played in the field for one frame after, but was ultimately pulled. At the time of his exit, the Angels were down 7-0 so it's possible the team simply decided to play it safe to ensure Trout's health moving forward.

Trout went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis

Trout went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
After coming off an uncharacteristic night Monday, Trout returned Tuesday with three hits including a sixth-inning home run off Jordan Lyles. The outfielder is reminding everyone who's best, slashing .385/.508/1.277 through 15 games. His OBP leads the league and his OPS is second to Ronald Acuna. If there is any concern with Trout, it's that he hasn't attempted a stolen base.

Trout went 1-for-2 with two RBI, two runs, and two walks in Friday's 10-3 win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Trout did not homer nor did he notch an extra-base hit, but he still had an impactful performance Friday. His sixth inning two-run single would put the Angels on top for good. The great start to the 2021 season continues for Trout as he now owns a .385 batting average and 10 RBI. The 29-year-old has also put together an impressive 22.8 percent walk rate across 57 plate appearances.

Trout went 3-for-5 with a solo homer and two RBI in Thursday's win over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
The best player in baseball continued to dominate on Thursday, hitting a solo shot in the fifth inning off Ross Stripling. It was the third of the year for the 29-year-old, who is currently slashing a ridiculous .417/.563/.875.

Trout went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Trout took a 2-2 slider down in the zone for a two-run homer to give the Angels the first lead of the day. The 464-footer was his first career long ball against Zack Greinke. Trout has now homered in back-to-back games while batting .368 overall. He'll look to eclipse his career-high 45 home runs tallied during the 2019 season.

Trout went 2-for-3 with a home run and two walks in Monday's win over the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Trout went deep in the fourth inning with a solo shot off Luis Garcia, but that wasn't his only contribution at the plate -- he got on base four times and continues to see the ball extremely well, as he has walked multiple times in three of his first five games this season. Trout is hitting .400 with a .609 on-base percentage through the first five games of the campaign, and while those numbers are not sustainable, they clearly indicate how hot Trout has been to start the year.
