Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (groin) is expected to play center field on Friday, according to manager Brad Ausmus. Trout missed some games last week after tweaking his groin last Tuesday and hasn't returned to the field since as a precaution. The 27-year-old phenom should be back patrolling the outfield this weekend, however. He's hitting .366/.571/.780 with five home runs, 11 runs, 12 RBI and a stolen base in 41 at-bats. Trout is always a must-start anytime he's playing.

Trout has missed the last three games but appears to have made a speedy recovery.
