Mike Moustakas With Homer Versus The Pirates rotoballer.com Sat 9/22/18 4:35 AM

Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Mike Moustakas supplied some power Friday versus Pittsburgh. Moustakas would supply a two-run homer that extended the lead from 4-3 to 6-3 which gave the bullpen some breathing room. The HR was his seventh with the Brewers and 27th of the season. Moustakas occasionally gets the day off when the manager decides some of his other talented infielders would make for a better matchup for that game's opposing starting pitcher, but otherwise, he plays more often than no[...]

Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Mike Moustakas provided a flash of power Friday versus the Pirates. He would hit a solo homer for the final Milwaukee run of the game. The blast was his sixth with the team and 26th overall. Moustakas also scored an earlier run that would be the eventual game-winner. Moustakas occasionally gets the day off against tough lefties but otherwise, he plays more often than not. The Brewers face a favorable schedule down the stretch so he could have an impact. There are[...]

Mike Moustakas is Sitting Out on Tuesday rotoballer.com Tue 9/11/18 6:12 PM

Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Mike Moustakas (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Chicago Cubs. The Brewers have been stuck facing a bunch of left-handed starters, so Moustakas has seen plenty of the bench as of late. Travis Shaw will slide over to third base and bat sixth, while Jonathan Schoop bats fifth and plays second base versus lefty Jose Quintana. Both players can be avoided against Quintana on Tuesday.

Mike Moustakas is Out on Tuesday rotoballer.com Tue 9/4/18 3:46 PM

Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Mike Moustakas (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Chicago Cubs. Moustakas does not hit left-handed pitching well, so the Brewers will let him sit this one out. Travis Shaw will slide over to third base and bat sixth versus lefty Mike Montgomery. Although, Shaw does not hit left-handed pitching well, so DFS players should just go ahead and avoid Shaw for this one.

Jonathan Schoop to Brewers - Fantasy Impact rotoballer.com Sat 8/4/18 4:45 AM

The Milwaukee Brewers appear to be trying to build an infield of sluggers who had a good 2017. They recently acquired Mike Moustakas from the Royals, who is struggling to live up to his 2018 form, and now they have added former Orioles second baseman Jonathan Schoop. They both join Travis Shaw who also appears to be struggling to live up to the numbers he put forward last year. However, the Brewers will be hoping that during this seasons race for the NL Central that at least one of their power[...]

Mike Moustakas is Out on Thursday rotoballer.com Thu 8/2/18 2:48 PM

Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Mike Moustakas (rest) is out of the starting lineup on Thursday. Moustakas is not in the starting lineup because the Brewers are facing left-handed Clayton Kershaw. However, Travis Shaw who is left-handed will replace Moustakas at third base and bat sixth. It appears the two are going to split time at third base, so that will hurt their fantasy value. Shaw is not worth using in DFS contests against left-handed pitching.
