Mike Leake Struggling In July rotoballer.com Wed 7/11/18 11:06 AM
Seattle Mariners starter Mike Leake was lit up by the Angels for the second time in as many starts in the Mariners 9-3 loss Tuesday night. Leake lasted only four innings, getting battered around for 11 hits and five earned runs to raise his ERA to 4.36 on the season. After posting a 2.57 ERA in the month of June, Leake has been ambushed by the Angels in his past two starts. The veteran starter is now 1-3 this season against the Angels and has allowed 12 earned runs in only 19 1/3 innings pitche[...]

Two-Start Pitcher Streamers for Week 15 rotoballer.com Sat 7/7/18 6:00 AM
We have 13 games on Monday, including two doubleheaders: NYY/BAL and PHI/NYM. Also, five of the teams playing have "TBD" listed as their Monday probable pitcher. However, we're still able to find six streamable starting pitcher options for your fantasy team.
Consistency is the key, as my streamers tend to have two things in common: they allow three earned runs, or less, in their recent starts and they tally at least five strikeouts in their outings. If my streaming p[...]
Mike Leake Takes Step Back Against Red Sox rotoballer.com Sun 6/17/18 3:36 PM
Seattle Mariners starter Mike Leake allowed five runs in six innings of work as the Mariners fell to the Red Sox on Sunday 9-3. Leake had been on quite a roll lately, allowing only seven runs over his last 35 2/3 innings pitched before getting knocked around by Boston. Leake (7-3) made a crucial mistake to Boston's Rafael Devers in the third inning Sunday, surrendering a three-run homer and his ERA jumped to 4.47 after the game. Leake will look to get back on track in his next start and remain[...]
Mike Leake Goes Eight Strong Innings For Win rotoballer.com Thu 6/7/18 9:13 PM
Seattle Mariners starter Mike Leake was fantastic Thursday night, spinning eight innings of two-run baseball as the Mariners beat the Rays 5-4. Leake (6-3) has turned his season around lately and now has allowed only six runs in his last 29 2/3 innings pitched. He is 3-0 since May 10th and the veteran seems to have found his footing pitching in the American League. He will be worth a look in fantasy as a short-term asset heading into his next turn in the rotation.
Mike Leake Has 1.66 ERA Over Last Three Starts rotoballer.com Thu 6/7/18 12:45 PM
Seattle Mariners starter Mike Leake will take the ball Thursday night when the team opens up a series with the Tampa Bay Rays. Leake has been impressive over his last three starts, allowing only four runs in his last 21 2/3 innings pitched for an ERA of 1.66. The string of strong starts has come at a perfect time for the veteran pitcher, whose ERA has dropped from a bloated 6.00 to 4.71 since May 22. Leake has been fairly decent this season outside of two disastrous starts, but he needs to cut d[...]
Mike Leake Hopes To Get On Track Against Blue Jays rotoballer.com Thu 5/10/18 12:36 PM
Seattle Mariners starter Mike Leake will try and snap a string of mediocre starts when he takes the ball Thursday against the Blue Jays. Leake posted three quality starts to begin the year but has fallen off on his production since then. After tossing six innings of three-run baseball on April 13th, Leake has allowed 31 hits over his last 20 2/3 innings. His [...]
Matt Chapman's Slugging Continues rotoballer.com Sat 4/14/18 4:05 AM
Oakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman continues to hit, posting his eighth multi-hit game on Friday against the Mariners. He hit a HR off Mike Leake in the sixth inning. He ended the night 2-for-4 with a HR, a run, and an RBI. Chapman now has a slash line of .358/.424/.698 and a team-leading five HRs. That is very good value for someone picked up off most waiver wires.
Mike Leake Solid In Mariners Win rotoballer.com Sun 4/1/18 4:22 PM
Seattle Mariners starter Mike Leake pitched seven strong innings of two-run baseball and the Mariners outlasted the Indians 5-4. Leake struck out four and allowed only five hits and begins the season on a positive note. Leake struggled at times coming over from the Cardinals last season via trade but Seattle is hoping he can solidify the middle of their rotation this season. There still may be some bumps in the road in the near future but Leake's performance coupled with a dominant first start f[...]
