Manager Dave Roberts said Bolsinger has a mild oblique injury, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bolsinger appeared to have the No. 5 starter gig locked up after Zach Lee was demoted to minor league camp Sunday. Just a few hours later, Bolsinger felt tightness in his abdomen while warming up for his scheduled start, and he was subsequently scratched from the outing. With Brandon Beachy (arm) also uncertain to be ready for the start of the season, Lee and Carlos Frias are back in the mix for the final rotation spot, according to Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times.

Bolsinger was scratched from his scheduled spring start Sunday due to abdominal tightness, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick.
EDGE Analysis
On the same day Bolsinger emerged as the clear favorite to open the season as the Dodgers' fifth starter, he felt soreness while warming up prior to his scheduled start, and was unable to go. Bolsinger is listed as day-to-day, but any injury this late in camp leaves his Opening Day availability in question.

Bolsinger is the favorite to open the season as the Dodgers' fifth starter following the team's demotion of Zach Lee on Sunday, according to MLB.com's Ken Gurnick.
EDGE Analysis
Bolsinger, Lee, and Brandon Beachy were all candidates to grab the rotation spot vacated by the injured Brett Anderson (back), but it looks like Bolsinger will grab the job with Beachy slowed by a sore arm and Lee set to open the season in the minors. Bolsinger may not be a household name, but he does have 30 big league starts under his belt, including 21 with the Dodgers in 2015. The team will be hoping he can provide something similar to last season, when he posted a 3.62 ERA and 98:45 K:BB ratio over 109.1 innings.

Bolsinger tossed four scoreless innings Tuesday against the Brewers and appears to be the favorite for the No. 5 starter job.
EDGE Analysis
Bolsinger has now allowed two runs in nine innings as he attempts to beat out Brandon Beachy and Zach Lee for the opportunity.

Manager Dave Roberts listed Bolsinger as one of the two favorites to replace the injured Brett Anderson (back) in the Dodgers' rotation, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson will be out 3-to-5 months following back surgery, which bumps Alex Wood into the fourth spot in the rotation, and likely leaves the fifth spot to either Bolsinger or Brandon Beachy. The latter option has more upside, but has had trouble staying healthy, which could help the dependable Bolsinger come away with the job.

Bolsinger (6-6) didn't last long on Wednesday, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks across 3.1 innings in a loss to the Giants. He did however, strike out seven.
EDGE Analysis
It was the "hangover" game for the Dodgers and their performance showed as such, as they mustered up two hits to support Bolsinger. The righty had a great start to the season, but has been regressing lately. In fact, over his last six starts, Bolsinger has a 6.39 ERA and 1.97 WHIP. He'll likely miss out on starting in the playoffs, but could possibly come out of the bullpen.

Bolsinger will make his next start Wednesday in San Francisco, True Blue LA's Eric Stephen reports.
EDGE Analysis
Considering he's allowed seven home runs in his last 17 innings, it's best to look elsewhere if you need to stream a starting pitcher. Bolsinger will need a lights-out performance to receive consideration for the playoff roster.

Bolsinger (6-5) was roughed up for four runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out two over four innings in Friday's loss to Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Bolsinger served up three homers on Friday and has now surrendered seven dingers in 17 innings since being called up from Triple-A on Sept. 4. His penchant for giving up homers, coupled with a heinous 1.94 WHIP over the same four-start stretch makes him toxic as the season comes to a close.

Bolsinger picked up the loss against the Pirates Sunday, allowing four runs (three earned, but the unearned run came as a result of his own error) over 4.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
This was a second consecutive sloppy start for Bolsinger, who allowed five hits (among those were two homers) and three walks to go along with his error. He struck out four batters.

Bolsinger will start Saturday against the Diamondbacks, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
While the right-hander wasn't particularly good against the Padres last weekend, giving up two homers and three runs total in five innings, he'll be afforded another start with Brett Anderson (calf) pushed back to next week. If Bolsinger fares better this time around, the Dodgers could consider swapping Mat Latos (neck) out for him in the starting rotation.
