The Chicago White Sox announced on Tuesday they have reassigned starting pitcher Michael Kopech to minor league camp. Kopech has had mixed results this spring but has struggled over his previous two outings. Kopech remains one of the top pitching prospects in all of baseball but still needs to develop his changeup. Kopech should ready to be called upon at some point in 2018 and makes for a good stash in deep mixed leagues. He should already be owned in dynasty leagues.

Kopech is still working on his third pitch, the changeup and with the White Sox in rebuild mode, there is no incentive to start his big league clock. Kopech is one of the best young arms in the game and is almost certain to pitch in the big leagues at some point in 2018.
