Harris said Sunday that he feels healthy heading into spring training after a productive offseason, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports. "I feel like I prepared perfectly this offseason," Harris said. "Now, I just have to do whatever I can to make sure I stay healthy."

When asked by Bowman about whether a 30-steal, 30-homer season would be attainable in 2025, Harris wouldn't go as far to make any predictions about his statistical production, but the 23-year-old possesses the skill set to achieve the feat if his health cooperates. Harris has been slowed a bit by injuries in both of the past two seasons, with a lower back strain forcing a stint on the injured list in 2023 and a left hamstring strain sending him to the 60-day IL last summer. Over a 162-game pace in 2024, Harris produced 24 home runs and 14 steals, but his passivity on the basepaths in August and September may have been in part due to him avoiding a potential aggravation of the hamstring injury. With a clean bill of health entering the spring, Harris could be poised to increase his involvement as a base stealer in 2025 and make a serious challenge for a 30-30 campaign, and at the very least, his first 20-20 season. He finished one home run shy of the benchmark in 2022 and two home runs shy in 2023.

Harris went 3-for-5 with three singles and a stolen base during Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Royals.

Harris generated his fifth three-hit performance of the last eight games and swiped his 10th stolen base of the campaign. During that eight-game stretch, Harris is 17-for-35 (.486) with three home runs, nine runs and seven RBI.

Harris went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Mets.

The 23-year-old outfielder rapped an RBI double in the third inning to get Atlanta on the board before taking Luis Severino deep for a solo shot in the fourth. Harris has been on fire to close out September, slashing .417/.438/.850 over the last 13 games with seven homers, 13 RBI and 16 runs, and he's a big reason why his team is still even in the wild-card picture in the final week of the regular season.

Harris went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs, four total RBI and four total runs scored in Thursday's 15-3 win over the Reds.

Both of Harris' homers came off Reds' lefty Brandon Leibrandt, a solo shot in the eighth inning and a three-run blast in the ninth. The 23-year-old Harris has been on a tear, going 6-for-16 with four home runs in his last three games. He took MacKenzie Gore deep in the fourth inning before launching another homer off Ildemaro Vargas in the ninth. Harris is still struggling to find a groove at the plate, and time is running out on the regular season -- since returning from a hamstring injury in mid-August, he's slashing just .234/.259/.421 through 26 games, but he does have six of his 11 homers on the year during that stretch.

Harris exited Sunday's game versus the Nationals after being hit by a pitch and didn't start Monday, but he entered that contest off the bench and is feeling well enough to start Tuesday's game. Harris entered the game as a defensive replacement to begin the bottom half of the sixth inning, and he ended up seeing one at-bat in the top of the eighth, striking out on three pitches. Manager Brian Snitker reported before Monday's game that he'd feel comfortable inserting Harris back into the lineup once the center fielder feels healthy enough to swing a bat, per Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, so this is likely a sign that Harris is nearing a return to health after being struck by a pitch on the hand Sunday against Washington. Even so, the 23-year-old's status will be worth keeping a close eye on over the next few days until he's given the green light to return to the starting lineup.
