Kepler is not starting Friday against Matthew Boyd and the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler has slid into a platoon role in right field lately, sitting against four of the last five lefties the Twins have faced. Marwin Gonzalez gets the start in right field.

Kepler went 4-for-4 with three home runs, four RBI, four runs scored and a walk during Thursday's 5-4 win over Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler accounted for almost all his team's offense in this one, launching a solo home run in the first before adding a two-run shot and another of the solo variety in the seventh. This was a much-needed breakout game for Kepler, who was without a hit in his last 21 at-bats. The big game pushes his OPS back up to .879 and he'll look to build on it in the next series in Detroit.

Kepler is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty-hitting Kepler will take a seat following six straight starts with the Twins opposing a southpaw (Ryan Yarbrough) in the series finale. Marwin Gonzalez will replace Kepler in the outfield and bat sixth.

Kepler went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run in the Twins' 5-3 win over the Brewers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler broke a scoreless game open in the top of the seventh, when he doubled to deep right to plate Ehire Adrianza and Willians Astudillo. The Twins would add three more insurance runs later in the frame, helping them secure a series split with Milwaukee. Though the Minnesota lineup has been a juggernaut top to bottom for much of the season, Kepler might be performing better than anybody of late. Over his past 10 starts, he's gone 19-for-42 (.452 average) with four home runs, seven doubles, 16 RBI and 15 runs.

Kepler went 2-for-4 with a homer, a double, four RBI and two runs in Sunday's 7-0 win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler has been red-hot over the last week. Over his last five games, he's gone 12-for-21 with three homers, 10 RBI and 10 runs scored, bringing his average up to .276. With 12 long balls already, he's well on his way to surpassing last season's total of 20.

Kepler is not in Saturday's lineup against the White Sox, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler has been on a tear at the plate, hitting .323/.395/.585 with four home runs, one steal and a 5:7 K:BB over his last 65 at-bats. Marwin Gonzalez will start in right field and hit second.

Kepler went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and four RBI in Friday's 11-4 rout of the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
The bruised knee he suffered Thursday wasn't an issue for Kepler at the plate or on the basepaths, and he took Reynaldo Lopez deep in the fourth inning for his 11th homer of the year. The outfielder could remain at DH over the weekend as a precaution if Nelson Cruz (wrist) isn't ready to rejoin the lineup, but Kepler seems ready to handle defensive duties if necessary.

Kepler is starting as the designated hitter Friday against the White Sox after leaving the previous night's game against the Angels with a bruised right knee.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler crashed into the wall in Thursday's contest, but manager Rocco Baldelli downplayed the injury after the game, so it's little surprise to see Kepler back in action. Marwin Gonzalez will play right field Friday.

Kepler went 3-for-5 with a home run, double and stolen base in Thursday's rout of the Angels. He scored four runs and drove in two, but also suffered a minor knee injury late in the game.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler's 10th home run was one of eight the Twins hit on the night. He also managed to steal his first base of the year and set a season high with the trio of hits. Unfortunately, the center fielder was forced to leave the game after colliding with the outfield wall while chasing a home run in the ninth inning. Twins manager Rocco Baldelli downplayed the seriousness of the injury, so the hope is that Kepler will miss little (if any) time.

Kepler left Thursday's game against the Angels with a bruised right knee after colliding with the outfield wall, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The outfielder is considered day-to-day. Utility man Marwin Gonzalez would likely fill in for him in right field if he's forced to miss time.
