Kepler (elbow) is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Rays, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler's absence from Wednesday's lineup isn't all too surprising after the outfielder exited Tuesday's game with a right elbow bruise. X-rays came back clean, though the Twins are still awaiting the results of his MRI. Eddie Rosario is starting in center field Wednesday, with Jake Cave -- who would be the primary beneficiary if Kepler requires a trip to the injured list -- getting the nod in right field.

EDGE Analysis
Kepler received a preliminary diagnosis of a right elbow bruise after being hit by a pitch Tuesday against the Rays. The 26-year-old appears to have avoided structural damage but will still undergo additional testing to be safe. Jake Cave figures to take over in center field should Kepler be forced to miss time with Byron Buxton (wrist) still on the injured list.

EDGE Analysis
Kepler was hit on the right elbow by a 95-mph fastball during the fifth inning and was subsequently removed from the contest. The 26-year-old should be considered day-to-day until the severity of the issue is determined. Jake Cave is likely to work in center field should Kepler miss any time.

Kepler went 3-for-5 with a walk, a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's extra-innings win over the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
He wasn't even in the starting lineup with lefty David Price on the mound for Boston, but after pinch hitting for Marwin Gonzalez in the sixth inning, Kepler nearly single-handedly kept Minnesota in the game. He tied the score at 2-2 with an RBI single in the eighth and then answered a Mookie Betts solo shot in the 13th with one of his own, before walking it off in the 17th with a bases-loaded liner down the right-field line. Kepler is now slashing .321/.455/.736 with six homers and 13 RBI through 15 games in June.

EDGE Analysis
Kepler was terrific out of the leadoff spot as he has been for most of 2019. It was his second four-hit contest in June alone. The 26-year-old outfielder continues his breakout season with a .917 OPS and 17 homers.

Kepler went 1-for-3 with two walks, two RBI and a run scored Thursday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler was pushed down to sixth in the order with southpaw Yusei Kikuchi on the mound, but had a productive day nonetheless. The highlight of his performance came in the sixth inning when he delivered a two-RBI single to put the Twins up 7-1. Kepler is riding a modest four-game hitting streak, during which he has three extra-base hits, four runs scored and three RBI. He's been very productive throughout the campaign, hitting .263/.342/.549 across 266 plate appearances.

Kepler went 4-for-4 with three home runs, four RBI, four runs scored and a walk during Thursday's 5-4 win over Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler accounted for almost all his team's offense in this one, launching a solo home run in the first before adding a two-run shot and another of the solo variety in the seventh. This was a much-needed breakout game for Kepler, who was without a hit in his last 21 at-bats. The big game pushes his OPS back up to .879 and he'll look to build on it in the next series in Detroit.
