Kepler went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
It's Kepler's first steal since May 21 and only his third of the year after he swiped a career-high 10 in 2021. It's at least a good sign that the 29-year-old is fully recovered from the toe injury that landed him on the IL in late July, as is the single -- after an 0-for-27 stretch following his activation, Kepler's gone 4-for-12 in his last three games.

Kepler went 3-for-4 with one double, one RBI and one run scored in Monday's win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler broke out of an 0-for-27 skid since returning from the injured list in a big way Monday, recording three hits to help Minnesota record the win. The Twins' outfielder has been a letdown so far, but he has underperformed both his xBA and his xSLG by 46 points. For fantasy managers seeking outfield help, Kepler could be a sneaky buy-low candidate to plug into lineups down the stretch.

Kepler is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler has started all six games since returning from the injured list last weekend, but he'll take a seat Sunday after going 0-for-25 with a walk and a run. Jake Cave will man right field in the series finale versus the Halos.

Kepler (toe) went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler missed nearly two weeks with a broken toe, and he didn't partake in a rehab assignment prior to returning from the injured list. The 29-year-old should resume a role as the starting right fielder versus right-handed pitchers. His 0-fer Saturday dropped his slash line to .241/.340/.385 through 86 games this season.

Kepler (toe) was activated from the 10-day injured list Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Mark Contreras was sent down to make room on the roster for Kepler, who will man right field and bat fifth against right-hander Mitch White in his return to the Minnesota lineup. While Kepler has not developed into a star player, he is an above-average contributor when he has the platoon edge (116 wRC+ this season), so he should play against most righties down the stretch.

Manager Rocco Baldelli said Thursday that it's "possible" Kepler (toe) is activated from the 10-day injured list sometime this weekend, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler has been running, hitting and throwing recently and felt good after working in the outfield Wednesday. The 29-year-old is eligible to return as early as Saturday, and he's closing in on his activation. Once Kepler is reinstated from the injured list, he should reclaim regular playing time in the Twins' outfield.

Kepler (toe) was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday, retroactive to July 27, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler was out of the lineup for the last three games due to a fractured pinky toe, and the issue will force him to spend time on the injured list. Since the move was backdated, the 29-year-old should be eligible to return as early as next weekend. However, it's not yet clear when the Twins expect Kepler to return. Kyle Garlick and Gilberto Celestino should see additional playing time in right field while Kepler is sidelined.

Kepler (toe) is not in Saturday's lineup against the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
There may be a roster move coming eventually with Kepler, who has not played since suffering a mildly-displaced pinkie toe fracture July 24. For now, Alex Kirilloff will man right field while Nick Gordon starts in left.

Kepler (toe) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old is out of the starting nine for the third straight game while dealing with a displaced fracture of his right pinkie toe. Kepler is considered day-to-day for now since the injury is believed to be mild, but a trip to the injured list is also likely being considered. Gilberto Celestino will start in right field Friday.

Kepler (toe) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler will be on the bench for the second straight game with a displaced fracture of his right pinkie toe, but the injury is viewed as mild and isn't on a weight-bearing part of his foot. With that in mind, the Twins are holding out hope that Kepler won't require a trip to the injured list, but he'll likely need to show some improvement coming out of Thursday's off day to avoid being deactivated. Kyle Garlick will pick up a second straight start in the corner outfield Wednesday in Kepler's stead.
