Duffy is out of the lineup versus the Yankees on Thursday, Marc Topkin of The Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy will take a seat for the series finale after starting 15 of the previous 16 games. In his place, Joey Wendle will man third base while Brandon Lowe picks up a start at the keystone.

Duffy is not in the lineup against Toronto on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy will take a seat for the first time since July 27 as Brandon Lowe gets a start in the infield for Friday's series opener. Over that 11 games span, Duffy is hitting .326/.367/.348 with four RBI and four multi-hit games. Look for him to rejoin the lineup Saturday.

Duffy went 2-for-3 with an RBI double and a walk in a win over the Orioles on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy's hot start to August persists, and he would have had his first multi-RBI game since July 1 if Mallex Smith hadn't been gunned down at the plate on Duffy's two-bagger. The 27-year-old continues to sport personal bests in average (.304) and on-base percentage (.356), while his 17 doubles and 32 RBI both rank as the second-highest figures of his career.

Duffy went 2-for-4 with a run in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy produced a pedestrian .250 average in July after an outstanding first three months-plus of the season, but he looks to be heating back up as August unfolds. Factoring in Tuesday's production, the 27-year-old has hit safely in five of the first six games of the month, and eight of his last nine overall. What's largely been missing this season has been power, as Duffy has only four home runs on the season and hasn't gone deep since June 16. However, his other 17 extra-base hits (16 doubles, one triple) have helped contribute to career highs in average (.303) and on-base percentage (.354).

Duffy went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and a run in a win over the Angels on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy started August off the way he closed out July, generating a second straight multi-hit effort and driving in a run for a third consecutive game. The infielder has hit safely in four straight overall and sports a .306/.356/.491 line for the season.

Duffy went 3-for-5 an RBI infield single in a win over the Angels on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy continues to keep his average over .300, a mark he hasn't dipped below since May 9. The 27-year-old isn't doing it with much pop -- his 21 extra-base hits on the season are a relatively modest figure when spread over 374 plate appearances -- but he's been obviously one of the Rays' most consistent hitters throughout the campaign. Unsurprisingly, his current .356 on-base percentage qualifies as a career best, while his strikeout rate remains down at an acceptable 15.7 percent.

Duffy is out of the lineup against Baltimore on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy will receive a breather after starting the previous five games, during which he's gone just 1-for-20 with one RBI. In his absence, Daniel Robertson will man third base while Joey Wendle gets a start at the keystone.

Duffy is 1-for-12 with an RBI over the three games he's played since missing two contests against the Marlins last week with back spasms.
EDGE Analysis
It's unknown if the issue is still affecting him to a degree, as offensive struggles have been a rarity for Duffy in what has been a stellar season. Despite the downturn over the last three games and a rather ordinary July overall (.254 average across 72 plate appearances), Duffy's .309 average and .363 on-base percentage on the season both qualify as career bests.

Duffy (back) is back in the starting lineup Sunday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy was originally penciled in for the first game after the All-Star break, but was scratched due to back spasms and has now missed back-to-back contests. That streak will end Sunday, however, as he'll return to his regular role at third base and bat second in the order.

Duffy (back) is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Marlins, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy was a late scratch Friday after experiencing back spasms on his way to the game, and it's unsurprising for the Rays to exercise some caution coming out of the All-Star break. It's unclear if 27-year-old will be available off the bench and he should continue to be considered day-to-day. Daniel Robertson will start at third base and bat second for Tampa Bay.
