Oakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman (shoulder, thumb) is slightly behind schedule following two surgeries in the offseason. Oakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman demonstrated multi-faceted improvements in 2018. On the field, he earned the AL platinum glove award.
