Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Matt Andriese has been traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks for catcher Michael Perez and pitcher Brian Shaffer. Andriese had allowed only one run over the past 12 innings he had pitched, though that was stretched over six appearances. Andriese has not been anything special in the past and this outing did not move the needle much.
