Adams went 2-for-3 with two walks, a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Wednesday's win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
He now has six homers and 15 RBI on the season, but most of that production has come in the last week -- Adams is slashing .550/.609/1.200 over his last 20 at-bats with four home runs and 11 RBI. His incredible hot streak puts him in consideration for a roster spot even in shallow fantasy leagues, but in the long run both the hits and the playing time will dry up for Adams once the rest of the Nats roster gets healthier.

Adams went 3-for-4 with two homers, three RBI and three runs scored Tuesday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Adams tagged Pirates starter Chad Kuhl for solo shots in the fourth and fifth innings and added an RBI single in sixth off reliever Tyler Glasnow. Adams' playing time has been sporadic this season, but the big man has made the most of his opportunities, slashing an impressive .296/.397/.630 through 61 plate appearances.

Adams went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and six RBI in Wednesday's 15-2 rout of the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The six RBI tied his previous career high. Adams' last RBI came on Apr. 11, and he'd gone 3-for-18 in 10 games since then. The 29-year-old will see his playing time reduced once Adam Eaton (ankle) is back in the lineup, and Wednesday's offensive explosion could well end up being the high point of his season.

Adams is starting in left field and batting fifth Thursday against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Adams made 19 starts in left field last season, so this isn't completely foreign territory for him. However, it is noteworthy as it suggests that the Nationals may give him a bit more playing time as a replacement for the injured Adam Eaton (ankle). Brian Goodwin still seems to be the main fill-in, but Adams could also benefit if he can continue producing anywhere near the 1.032 OPS he has to start the season.

Adams went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Wednesday's extra-inning loss to the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
He was the reason the game didn't end in regulation, as the former Cardinal took Arodys Vizcaino deep in the ninth inning to knot the score at 2-2. All four of Adams' hits this season have gone for extra bases (two doubles, two homers) and with Ryan Zimmerman struggling, he could begin to pick up more playing time when a right-hander is on the mound for the opposition.

Adams will start at first base and bat cleanup Wednesday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
He'll enter the lineup for the second time this season with Ryan Zimmerman resting for the day game after a night game. Adams came up big in his first start Saturday against the Reds with a three-run home run and will have the platoon advantage working in his favor Wednesday with right-hander Mike Foltynewicz on the mound for Atlanta.

Adams went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer, two runs scored, two strikeouts and a walk Saturday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Adams started at first base in place of Ryan Zimmerman and batted cleanup. He took advantage of hitting behind the Nationals' big bats right away, driving in Adam Eaton and Bryce Harper with a three-run home run in the first inning off of Luis Castillo. Adams will primarily be a bench bat this season, barring an injury to Zimmerman, but he has big power and could have some big games when he gets into the loaded Nationals' lineup.

Adams (leg) will start at first base and bat fourth Sunday for the Nationals in their Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Adams' placement in the lineup is an indication that the leg cramps that resulted in him getting scratched from Saturday's game against the Mets are no longer an issue. The 29-year-old, who is hitting .320 with a home run in 25 at-bats this spring, should serve as one of the Nationals' top bench bats this seasons and could spell Ryan Zimmerman at first base one or two times a week.

Adams was scratched from Saturday's lineup due to leg cramps, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Nationals are saying he was scratched as a precaution. Chris Dominguez slots in at first base in his place. Adams should be considered day-to-day.

Adams (foot) went 3-for-3 with a triple and RBI in Sunday's game against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Adams was expected to return from his foot injury on Friday or Saturday. However, the Nationals held off and waited until Sunday to have him play. Adams didn't show any signs of rust, as his triple should help put any lingering concerns about the condition of his foot to rest.
