Semien (foot) could miss the entire weekend series against the Guardians and a trip to the 10-day injured list is possible, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Semien had to be lifted from Thursday's game versus the Royals due to a left foot contusion after fouling a ball off the area. He has not been diagnosed with any fractures, but evidently the discomfort could keep him out a handful of days or longer. Ezequiel Duran, Cody Freeman and Josh Smith and Michael Helman are options to play second base for the Rangers while Semien is out.

Semien was lifted from Thursday's game versus the Royals due to a left foot contusion, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Semien fouled a ball off his foot in the first inning during a plate appearance that eventually resulted in a strikeout. He remained in the game initially but was removed in the third inning. It sounds like a day-to-day injury, but the Rangers could have more on Semien's status after the contest.

Semien was removed from Thursday's game in Kansas City during the third inning due to an undisclosed injury, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Semien recently dealt with a wrist issue, but it's not clear whether that's the injury that forced his exit Thursday. The Rangers should have more information on the second baseman soon.

Semien went 3-for-4 with a double, a two-run homer and an additional run scored in Sunday's 10-4 win over Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Semien has held out of the lineup Saturday after being hit in the right wrist by a pitch in Friday's loss to the Blue Jays. He was back in the lineup for Sunday's contest and made his presence felt immediately with a two-run homer to left field in the second inning. Semien has posted a .585 OPS with three home runs and 12 RBI over 119 plate appearances since the All-Star break, and Sunday's efforts marked his first multi-hit game since July 30 against the Angels.

Semien (wrist) will start at second base and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
After being hit in the right wrist by a pitch in Friday's 6-5 loss, Semien was able to finish out the contest but was withheld from the lineup for Saturday's 14-2 loss while he contended with swelling and soreness in the wrist. The day off appears to have provided sufficient time for Semien to heal up from the injury, as he'll take back his usual spot at the keystone in the series finale while Ezequiel Duran retreats to the bench.

Semien had X-rays on his wrist Saturday, and those came back negative, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning Newsreports.
EDGE Analysis
Semien was hit by a pitch in the wrist Friday and was held out of Saturday's lineup after the area swelled up overnight. Fortunately for the veteran second baseman, X-rays have indicated that he's not dealing with a fracture. It remains to be seen, however, how long Semien will remain sidelined.

Semien woke up with a swollen wrist Saturday morning after being hit by a pitch in Friday's 6-5 loss to Toronto, and he'll undergo X-rays, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Semien is out of the lineup Saturday and it's now known his absence is due to a wrist injury stemming from a HBP that occurred in the second inning of Friday's contest. Although Semien finished the game, he's now dealing with swelling and will undergo further testing. Should he miss time, Josh Smith and Ezequiel Duran would be in line for starts at second base.

Semien is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
It'll be the second absence for Semien this season, ending a streak of 107 consecutive starts by the second baseman. Semien is in the midst of a minor slump, going 9-for-55 (.164) with no multi-hit performances in his last 14 games. Ezequiel Duran will play the keystone and bat seventh Saturday.

Semien went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Facing the club with which he produced a career-high 45 homers and 102 RBI back in 2021, Semien flashed his old Rogers Centre power by launching a Louis Varland slider over the left-center field wall in the eighth inning. The blast ended a 20-game homerless drought for the 34-year-old Semien, who won't come close to matching those numbers in 2025 -- over 122 contests, he's on pace for the lowest OPS of his career at .652, and he has just 14 homers and 59 RBI.

Semien went 0-for-5 with a stolen base and one run scored in Sunday's 8-1 win over Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Semien reached base on a fielder's choice and stole second before coming around to score on Wyatt Langford's three-run double in the first inning. This was Semien's 10th steal of the campaign, and he's logged three of them over his last six games despite going 2-for-22 at the plate in that span. He continues to struggle with consistency, slashing .223/.303/.358 on the year while adding 13 home runs, 52 RBI, 51 runs scored, 11 doubles and one triple through 105 games.
