Twins released RHP Luis Perdomo. Perdomo posted a rough 5.95 ERA in 65 innings this season for the Twins' Triple-A affiliate in Rochester. The 29-year-old righty will hope to land with a new club.

Twins re-signed RHP Luis Perdomo to a minor league contract. Perdomo, 28, posted a 3.18 ERA in 15 relief appearances with the Twins in 2012. He was outrighted to Triple-A Rochester earlier this offseason and will compete for a spot on the Opening Day roster in spring training.

The 28-year-old right-hander posted a 3.18 ERA in 15 relief appearances with the Twins this season, but he did so with an underwhelming 8/12 K/BB ratio over 17 innings.

Twins optioned RHP Luis Perdomo to Triple-A Rochester. Perdomo allowed five hits and issued seven walks in six innings during his three-week stay in the major leagues. The righty may be given another shot later this summer.

Twins purchased the contract of RHP Luis Perdomo from Triple-A Rochester. He'll replace the injured Anthony Swarzak (shoulder) on the active roster. Perdomo, 28, had a solid 2.14 ERA and 61/18 K/BB ratio over 59 innings this season between Double-A New Britain and Triple-A Rochester. He'll pitch in middle relief.
