Gonzalez will start in right field and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Since being called up from Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, Gonzalez has seemingly recaptured the near-everyday role he held prior to his demotion to the minors May 16. With LaMonte Wade (knee) back on the injured list, Gonzalez will pick up his third consecutive start in right field after going 1-for-8 with a double and a walk between the first two games of the series.

Gonzalez was recalled by the Giants on Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old was sent down Monday, but he'll rejoin the major-league roster after LaMonte Wade (knee) was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday. Gonzalez has hit .349 with two homers, three doubles, 15 RBI, 11 runs and three stolen bases over 21 major-league games this year, so he should be in the mix for playing time in the outfield while Wade is sidelined.

Gonzalez was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez owns an excellent .349/.397/.492 slash line through 21 games this season, adding two homers and three steals. He'll make way for now for Tommy La Stella (Achilles) to return from the injured list, but he seemingly did everything he could to earn another opportunity.

Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 15-6 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Both teams turned to position players to finish off the lopsided contest, and Gonzalez got the call on the mound for the Giants. He pitched 1.1 innings while allowing just one hit while also taking Albert Pujols deep on a three-run blast in the ninth inning. It'll count as Gonzalez's second homer of the season, and his other was back on April 25. The outfielder is hitting a sizzling .349/.397/.492 with 15 RBI, 11 runs scored and three stolen bases through 73 plate appearances, a performance that has earned him regular playing time in left field over Darin Ruf and Joc Pederson.

Gonzalez went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez's only trip aboard came in the eighth inning on a walk, and he stole second before scoring on a LaMonte Wade single. Through 10 games in May, Gonzalez is 10-for-30 (.333) with three stolen bases, five RBI and six runs scored. While the Giants' outfield is fairly crowded, he's been in the mix for playing time, and the lefty hitter has even drawn starts against southpaws in two of the last five games.

Gonzalez went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 8-5 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez knocked in the Giants' last run of the game in the eighth inning. While he's regularly played in the outfield, Gonzalez started as the designated hitter Monday, presumably to keep his bat in the lineup while the struggling Joc Pederson got a day off. Gonzalez is slashing .300/.345/.400 with a home run, 10 RBI, eight runs scored and two stole bases in 16 games this season. The Giants' outfield is now mostly healthy, however, so the 26-year-old may see his opportunities scaled back.

Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 9-1 loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
His third-inning stolen base was the first of his career at the major-league level. Gonzalez has seen fairly steady playing time lately due to absences in the Giants' outfield, but that could soon change. Joc Pederson (groin) and Mike Yastrzemski (illness) were both in the lineup Wednesday, and LaMonte Wade (knee) is nearing the end of his rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento. Gonzalez is slashing .303/.333/.424 with a home run, eight RBI and five runs scored through 39 plate appearances, but it remains to be seen if he's done enough to maintain his place on the big-league roster once the Giants are closer to full health.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old came off the bench in his first appearances of the season April 22, but he started all eight games since and went 8-for-28 with a home run, a double, seven RBI and five runs. The lefty-hitting Gonzalez will take a seat Tuesday since southpaw Julio Urias is pitching for Los Angeles. Luke Williams, Mauricio Dubon and Austin Slater will start from left to right in the outfield.

Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's victory over Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez chose a prime time for the first major-league home run of his young career, blasting a two-run bomb just fair down the line in right field to put the Giants ahead 4-2, a lead that would stick. He's now started three straight games for San Francisco, collecting a hit in all three contests while driving in five runs. Gonzalez should continue to see regular time in right field against right-handed pitching while Lamonte Wade (knee) remains on the injured list.

Gonzalez will start Saturday against the Nationals, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez pinch hit in Friday's game after being called up earlier in the day, and he is set to make his first start of the season one day later. According to manager Gabe Kapler, Gonzalez could start regularly against right-handed pitchers until LaMonte Wade (knee) is ready to return.
