He'll now head back to the minors in order to get back on track, officially moving Elias Diaz into the No. 2 catcher spot behind Kyle Higashioka. Campusano drove home San Diego's second run of the game on a groundout in the top of the second and then came around to score himself in the fourth after recording a two-out single. The catcher would later top off his night with a solo homer in the eighth, giving him his eighth long ball of the season and his first in the month of August. Campusano reached four times in the contest and he's now posted multiple hits in five of his last 10 starts. Over that stretch he's batting .323 (11-for-34) with two homers, six RBI and five runs scored.
