Hendriks struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his 35th save of the season in a 1-0 win over Cleveland.

The White Sox bullpen was taxed a little more heavily than expected in the combined shutout after Dylan Cease (triceps) was forced to exit early, but Hendriks was more than up to the task of finishing the job. The 32-year-old hasn't blown a save since Aug. 12, converting nine straight chances with a 1.56 ERA, 0.63 WHIP and 23:1 K:BB through 17.1 innings over his last 16 appearances.
