Seager went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Yankees on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Seager was essentially the lone bright spot for the Mariners versus old teammate James Paxton, as he took the southpaw deep in the fourth inning with Austin Nola aboard. The veteran third baseman has socked half of his 18 homers on the season during a blistering August in which he's hit .329, laced 17 extra-base hits overall, and raised his season average 32 points to .250.

Seager went 2-for-4 with a two-RBI single, a stolen base, a run scored and a walk in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Seager's two-run single came in the first inning off Blue Jays opener Wilmer Font. He then stole his second base of the season. While the speed routine isn't likely to continue, Seager's hot hitting continues with his third multi-hit effort in the last four games. He's lifted his slash line to .251/.327/.498 for the season, with 17 homers, 47 RBI and 41 runs scored in 74 games.

Seager went 2-for-3 with two RBI, two doubles and two walks in a 7-4 win over the Blue Jays on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Seager continues to be a proverbial thorn in the side of the opposition during his season-changing August, with Friday's production pushing his monthly average to .338 across 75 plate appearances. His latest pair of two-baggers gives him 13 extra-base hits this month (five doubles, eight home runs) after mustering just 18 combined over June and July. Seager's extended tear has resulted in a 27-point boost in his season average to .247, which is partly responsible for his OPS enjoying a 134-point improvement to .817 since the calendar flipped.

Seager went 2-for-3 with a double, homer, three RBI and two runs scored Tuesday against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Seager took Diego Castillo deep for a two-run homer in the first inning, his 17th of the season. He followed that up with an RBI double in the seventh frame. The strong performance maintained Seager's strong form at the plate, as he now has six home runs in his past eight games, also notching two doubles in that span. With the benefit of that hot stretch, Seager has improved his OPS to .811 across 295 plate appearances-- highlighted by a .492 slugging percentage.

Seager went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Seager's 360-foot shot to right in the second opened the scoring on the afternoon for the Mariners and served as his fifth round tripper in the last six games. The previously struggling third baseman also extended his hitting streak to a season-best 12 games and is hitting .340 over 56 plate appearances in August.

Seager went 2-for-5 with a double, three RBI and a run in a win over the Tigers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Seager is apparently intent on making up for a season's worth of struggles in a month, as he's enjoyed a highly impressive resurgence thus far in August. Factoring in Thursday's production, Seager is hitting .368 (14-for-38) with two doubles, five home runs, 12 RBI, six walks and seven runs over 11 games since the calendar flipped. That's already led to a 24-point boost in his batting average to .242, and the veteran third baseman is working on a nine-game hitting streak as well.

Seager went 3-for-4 with three home runs, six RBI and a walk in Tuesday's 11-6 win at Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Seager capped off his first multi-homer game of the season in entertaining fashion, as his ninth-inning home run only made it over the wall after bouncing off the glove of a Tigers outfielder. The 31-year-old had a rough first half with a .659 OPS, but he's looked much better since the All-Star break with a .270/.323/.506 slash line and five homers in 25 games.

Seager went 1-for-3 with a run-scoring groundout and a solo home run in a win over the Padres on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Seager erased an early 1-0 deficit and subsequently snapped a 1-1 tie in the second and fourth innings with his groundout and homer, respectively. The veteran third baseman continues to experience a second-half awakening at the plate after a prolonged slump, as he's now slugged five of his 11 round trippers on the season since July 22 and has hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games overall.

Seager, who went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Astros on Sunday, is hitting .341 (15-for-44) with two doubles, one triple, four homers, eight RBI and nine runs overall in his last 12 games.
EDGE Analysis
Not only is Seager obviously putting very good wood on the ball lately, he's also generated an improved 16.3 percent strikeout rate during that span. The veteran slugger has boosted his season line from .189/.265/.349 to .218/.290/.407 over that stretch, middling numbers that nevertheless hint at the possibility he may finally be breaking out of a season-long funk.
