Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber will bat first versus the Reds on Thursday night. Schwarber is known for his powerful bat, but also has good on-base skills. It will be the first time Schwarber has hit at the top of the order this season and he has the ability to score some runs in a strong lineup, however the Cubs offense faces Luis Castillo in a tough matchup Thursday.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber went 1-for-3 with a walk and a home run on Wednesday versus the Reds. Schwarbers home run was his fifth of the season and he is now hitting .224 with 11 RBI. Schwarber remains a source of power for fantasy owners in a potent lineup, but is unlikely to help across the board.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber is not in the starting lineup against Brewers left-handed starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez on Friday. Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Miami Marlins. Fantasy owners can relax, as this is not injury-related. Schwarber is struggling at the plate, and facing lefty Caleb Smith isn't going to help his fantasy value. Ben Zobrist will draw the start in left field and bat eighth versus Smith. Zobrist isn't an overly great DFS option for Tuesday.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber will have Sunday versus the Arizona Diamondbacks off. Its not surprise as manager Joe Maddon rarely lets the slugger face lefties. Schwarber has struggled early on, but owners should remain patient as he has enough power to be worth owning long term. Mark Zagunis will replace Schwarber and bat ninth on Sunday. Zagunis is nothing more than a dart throw in DFS.
