Schwarber has really been since the ball well since moving up to the top of the Cubs lineup around a month ago and is hitting .272 with ten runs scored, six home runs and 16 RBI over his last 55 at-bats. Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber went yard for the second time in three games Friday night against the Washington Nationals. Schwarber went yard after an at-bat that was 13 pitches against Justin Miller. The slugger finished the game 1-for-4 with three walks, three runs scored and two RBI. It was the second straight game that Schwarber hit first in the order and if he continues to do so, he should see an increase in runs scored to go along with his power numbers.
