Harrison could be recalled from Triple-A Worcester to start Monday's series opener against the Orioles, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After the Red Sox moved Walker Buehler to the bullpen Friday, the club needs a starter for Monday's contest. The leading contenders to fill the void in the rotation would seem to be Harrison and Richard Fitts, the latter of whom was recalled from Triple-A on Thursday and was made available out of the bullpen. Fitts has gone unused in the first three games of the Red Sox's series with the Yankees, and if Boston stays away from him again Sunday, the right-hander would likely be the top candidate to take the hill Monday. Acquired from the Giants in the June 15 deal that sent Rafael Devers to San Francisco, Harrison has yet to make his Red Sox debut. The 24-year-old southpaw has thus far made 10 starts for Worcester, turning in a 3.69 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 46:25 K:BB in 46.1 innings.

Harrison allowed four runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out four over four innings for Triple-A Worcester on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison was nicked for a pair of runs in each of the first and third innings, including a home run, in his debut for the organization. He was part of the package Boston acquired from San Francisco in the Rafael Devers trade. The right-hander threw mostly fastballs, per

Harrison is working on revamping his repertoire at Triple-A Worcester before joining their rotation next week, Tommy Cassell of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Acquired from the Giants in the Rafael Devers trade, Harrison worked on some new pitches -- including a cutter and sinker -- during a live batting practice session this week. The lefty threw a four-seamer, slurve and changeup during his time in San Francisco, with Red Sox director of pitching Justin Williard calling the four-seamer a "unique fastball that's going to be his bread and butter." The Red Sox want Harrison to find some consistent secondary offerings to pair with the four-seamer, and senior director of player development Brian Abraham said "the returns have been really good so far" with the southpaw. Harrison figures to make at least a couple starts with Worcester as he works on his new offerings, but the plan seems to be to have him as part of Boston's rotation sooner rather than later.

Harrison was optioned to Triple-A Worcester after being traded to the Red Sox on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison will report to Triple-A Worcester to begin his tenure with his new team. The left-hander owns a career 4.48 ERA and 1.30 WHIP with 178 strikeouts over 182.2 innings in 39 appearances, including 35 starts, with the Giants. He figures to project as a long-term asset as a starting pitcher for the Red Sox and his time in Triple-A will likely be short-lived.

Harrison was traded to the Red Sox as a part of a deal that returned Rafael Devers to the Giants on Sunday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison will no longer make his start Sunday night versus the Dodgers, and he will no longer be a member of the Giants' organization. The left-hander has compiled a 4.56 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 25 strikeouts over 23.2 innings while posting a 1-1 record in eight appearances, including four starts, with San Francisco in 2025. Harrison could slot into Boston's starting rotation moving forward or operate as a bullpen arm. Right-handed reliever Jordan Hicks (toe) was also among the assets heading to Boston on Sunday.

Harrison did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over five innings against the Rockies. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander was burned by the long ball Tuesday, giving up home runs to Ryan McMahon and Kyle Farmer. Harrison has made four starts since joining the rotation May 24, with mixed results. The 23-year-old owns a 4.91 ERA and 1.36 WHIP over 18.1 innings as a starter, compared to a 3.38 ERA and 0.94 WHIP in 5.1 innings out of the bullpen.

Harrison (elbow) is listed as the Giants' probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Rockies in Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison's previous start last Wednesday against the Padres was cut short after he was struck on the left elbow by a comebacker midway through the fifth inning, but he escaped the incident with nothing more than a bruise. The southpaw was able to complete his between-starts bullpen session over the weekend and looks set to pitch Tuesday with no restrictions. However, Harrison -- who owns a 4.73 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 12:4 K:BB in 13.1 innings over his previous three starts -- won't make for a comfortable streaming option in a road start at hitter-friendly Coors Field.

Harrison was diagnosed with a left elbow contusion after getting hit by a comebacker during Wednesday's game against San Diego, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison took a grounder off his elbow during the fifth inning of Wednesday's contest and was immediately pulled from the game. However, it appears he escaped from the incident with only a bruise. A scheduled day off Monday will give Harrison an extra day to rest before his next scheduled start, but the Giants will wait a few days to see how he recovers from his bruise before they pencil him in for another outing. The southpaw allowed five runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out three batters in his 4.2 frames Wednesday and finished with a no-decision.

Harrison (1-1) got the win and turned in a solid performance throwing five innings of shutout ball in Friday's 2-0 win over the Marlins. He allowed one hit, walked three and struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
In just his second start of the season since transitioning from the bullpen, Harrison had a longer leash Friday and took advantage of it, working five shutout innings in just 80 pitches. In his two starts (9.0 innings), he allowed just two runs with nine strikeouts. With Justin Verlander (pectoral) on the way back from the injured list, the 23-year-old Harrison might not get the chance to start again when his turn comes back up, but he made a strong case to be the team's choice to make a spot start should injuries strike the Giants rotation again.

Harrison is slated to start Friday's game against the Marlins in Miami.
EDGE Analysis
After getting called up from Triple-A Sacramento on May 4, Harrison initially worked out of the bullpen, but he moved into the rotation last week following Justin Verlander's (pectoral) placement on the injured list. Harrison took a loss to the Nationals in his first start with the Giants last Saturday, giving up two runs in four innings while striking out four batters. The lefty should have a longer leash in his second start after tossing just 57 pitches against Washington, but he may not be guaranteed any turns through the rotation beyond Friday. Verlander threw a 40-pitch bullpen session Tuesday and could be ready to return from the IL as soon as next week.
