The 28-year-old righty picked up where he left off before his injury, which isn't a good thing. He'd been battered by the Nationals for seven earned runs over three innings back on April 22, and had the misfortune of drawing one of the most dangerous offenses in baseball in the form of the Red Sox in his first start back. Gibson got into early trouble by yielding an RBI double to Xander Bogaerts and a three-run homer to Jackie Bradley, Jr. in the first inning, but left the game in the sixth with the Twins trailing only 5-4. He'll try once more for his first win of the season against the Yankees next Thursday.
