Kiermaier went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier's eighth bomb of the season, a 443-foot bomb to center, opened the scoring on the afternoon. The Gold Glove outfielder has one of only two multi-hit efforts on the day for the Rays, and he went 5-for-12 with a double, Sunday's homer, two RBI and three runs in the weekend series against the Mariners.

Kiermaier will be the Rays' leadoff hitter on a full-time basis for the rest of the season, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
He is atop the lineup Saturday, even against lefty Ariel Miranda, and that will be the case for the rest of the season. If he has not already been scooped up, Kiermaier should be added in most roto formats, as he should be a valuable source of runs and steals over the rest of the season.

Kiermaier (hip) was activated from the DL and is in the lineup Friday against the Mariners, Scott Braun of the MLB Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
As planned, Kiermaier is set to return to action Friday night. Prior to landing on the disabled list, Kiermaier had built a .258/.329/.408 line over 62 games.

Kiermaier (hip) is expected to rejoin the Rays lineup Friday, MLB Network Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
The long road back from his hip fracture looks ready to conclude. Manager Kevin Cash told the program he was "thrilled" to be getting him back in the fray. Kiermaier will log his first big-league action since June 8.

Kiermaier (hip, back) played in the outfield for High-A Charlotte against Bradenton Tuesday, his first game in the field during his rehab, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier went 0-for-3 with a strikeout, so his night at the plate wasn't a success by any means. However, the most important aspect of Tuesday's outing was the 27-year-old's ability to resume playing in the field, putting him a step closer to what is expected to be a Friday return to the big-league club.

Kiermaier (hip, back), who went 1-for-5 with an RBI triple and a run in High-A Charlotte's loss to Bradenton on Sunday, is slated for at least three more rehab games, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The recovering outfielder went 1-for-9 over his first two contests, playing both games as the designated hitter. Kiermaier may be deployed in the outfield beginning Tuesday after receiving the night off Monday. If all goes well during the rest of the week, Kiermaier would presumably rejoin the Rays for their upcoming weekend series versus the Mariners.

Kiermaier (hip) went 0-for-4 with a run in High-A Charlotte's win over Bradenton on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Irrespective of the hitless performance, the good news was that Kiermaier got back into game action for the first time since July 28. The recovering outfielder is scheduled to play multiple games before being considered for activation, with the goal being for him to return in time for next weekend's series versus the Mariners.

Kiermaier (hip) will embark on a rehab assignment with High-A Charlotte on Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moving forward, the plan for Kiermaier appears to be a couple of games at DH this weekend, and then a contest out in the field Tuesday following a scheduled day off Monday. The 27-year-old has been out since early June after suffering a fractured hip sliding into first base during a game against the White Sox. If all goes well, Kiermaier is hoping to rejoin the team next weekend for the beginning of Tampa Bay's homestand against the Mariners. The team will likely reevaluate his progress following Tuesday's outing, with a clear timetable for his return.

Kiermaier (hip) will resume a running program Thursday, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier was shut down earlier this month after experiencing some back pain following two rehab games with High-A Charlotte, but it appears the setback isn't anything overly significant. He was already been cleared to resume limited baseball activities early in the week, and if he continues to feel fine during his workouts Wednesday, he'll ramp things up with his running the following day. Manager Kevin Cash noted that Kiermaier will need to restart his rehab assignment before coming off the 60-day disabled list, with a potential activation likely to come no earlier than the Rays' upcoming homestand from Aug. 18 to 24.

Kiermaier (hip, back) has resumed limited baseball activities, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier is slowly but surely working his way back from multiple injuries that have kept him sidelined since the beginning of June. While he feeling well enough to participate in certain baseball activities, the Rays won't send him back on a rehab assignment until he is completely pain-free, which doesn't appear to be the case at this point. A clearer timetable should become available once he is able to resume a rehab assignment, but it's looking like he won't be back until the second half of August at the earliest.
