Kiermaier (wrist) is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Yankees, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
He'll remain on the bench for a second straight contest due to a sore left wrist. Since the Rays are facing a left-handed pitcher (J.A. Happ), Kiermaier may have been out of the starting nine anyway, given manager Kevin Cash's proclivity to play matchups. The righty-hitting Guillermo Heredia will step in for Kiermaier in center field in the series opener. Per Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network, Kiermaier is available off the bench and expects to rejoin the lineup for Friday's contest.

Kiermaier was scratched from the lineup with a sore left wrist for Wednesday's game against Baltimore, Steve Carney of Sports Radio 620 WDAE reports.
EDGE Analysis
Guillermo Heredia will slide to center field in Kiermaier's absence, with Austin Meadows entering the lineup in right. It's not yet clear how much time Kiermaier is expected to miss.

Kiermaier went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in a win over the Orioles on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier's sixth-inning shot off Branden Kline erased a 3-2 deficit and gave the Rays a lead they wouldn't relinquish. With the three-run blast, Kiermaier opened July the same way he closed out June -- with a multi-hit, multi-RBI effort. He's now left the yard twice in the last five contests, a span during which he's also collected seven RBI.

Kiermaier went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier had gone without a multi-hit outing since June 10 prior to Sunday's strong performance. The 29-year-old scored the go-ahead run in the fourth inning after singling in Yandy Diaz to tie the game at 2-2. Kiermaier is up to 36 RBI this season and should shatter his career-best 40 set in 2015.

Kiermaier (calf) hopes to return to the lineup Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Timesreports.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier will not start Friday after exiting Thursdays' contest with a sore calf, but it's looking like he is not expecting any sort of extended absence, and even added he would be available in a pinch Friday if needed.

Kiermaier (calf) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier exited Thursday's contest with right calf discomfort and figured to miss at least another game or two, so his absence Friday isn't overly surprising. Guillermo Heredia will start in center field and bat ninth in his absence.

Kiermaier said he felt discomfort in his right calf prior to Thursday's contest against the Twins, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier was still in the starting lineup Thursday, but exited in the first inning after making a diving catch. He doesn't expect the injury to be long-term, but he's expected to miss at least the first game of the team's weekend series against the Rangers.

Kiermaier exited Thursday's game against the Twins due to right lower-leg tightness, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier apparently sustained the injury while making a diving catch during the first inning. He was initially able to stay in the game but was removed in the middle of the second inning after grounding out in his lone at-bat. Austin Meadows replaced Kiermaier in the game. Consider the outfielder day-to-day for now.

Kiermaier went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's loss to the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier snapped an 0-for-8 hittless streak by launching a 415-foot, two-run shot off Jake Odorizzi in the second inning. The 29-year-old's bat has cooled off as of late, so it's nice to see some power. Until he can provide more consistency at the plate, Kiermaier will likely remain in the sixth lineup spot. Overall this season, he's batting .244/.293/.429 with nine home runs, 36 runs scored, 34 RBI and 13 stolen bases.
