There are plenty of strategies that fantasy managers explore in hopes of getting an advantage over their opponent. A few weeks without a key player wont kill a season, but why accept losing when you can stream?Streaming can be a risky business. If you do it right and check the necessary boxes, you can win the week. This column wi[...]

Kevin Kiermaier Hits Third Home Run In Last Four rotoballer.com Fri 5/24/19 12:30 AM

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier hit a three-run inside-the-park home run on Thursday. It was his fifth of the season and third in his last four games. Kiermaier is feeling it right now, but shouldnt be expected to keep up this power surge. Hes slashing .234/.300/.421 through 43 games with six stolen bases. The good part about Kiermaier is that he isnt at risk to lose the centerfield job. The being said, hes not worth rostering outside of the deepest leagues. The six steals show that h[...]

Kevin Kiermaier Sitting Versus Lefty rotoballer.com Fri 5/17/19 6:38 PM

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the New York Yankees. Kiermaier is getting the day off against the left-handed starter. Guillermo Heredia will draw the start in center field and bat ninth versus lefty CC Sabathia. Heredia doesn't have enough upside with the bat and is hitting too low in the batting order to warrant even looking at in DFS contests.

Ji-Man Choi, Kevin Kiermaier Out Against Lefty rotoballer.com Wed 5/8/19 12:30 PM

Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi and outfielder Kevin Kiermaier are out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against Diamondbacks left-handed starter Robbie Ray. Yandy Diaz is at first and is hitting leadoff, while Guillermo Heredia is in center field and batting ninth. Heredia has very limited fantasy upside and will be one to avoid in the nine spot on Wednesday. Diaz is hitting .265/.360/.521 this year with seven home runs and 18 RBI. He's a fine daily pick while hitting leadoff.

Ji-Man Choi, Kevin Kiermaier Out Against Southpaw rotoballer.com Thu 5/2/19 12:24 PM

Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi and outfielder Kevin Kiermaier are both out of the lineup against Royals left-handed starter Danny Duffy on Thursday. Nathaniel Lowe is at first base and is batting eighth, while Guillermo Heredia is in center field and hitting ninth. Neither player is very attractive for DFS hitting that low in the lineup. Third baseman Yandy Diaz is serving as the designated hitter and is batting leadoff, while infielder Brandon Lowe drops to sixth against the le[...]

Yandy Diaz is at first base and is batting leadoff, while Guillermo Heredia is in center field and is hitting sixth. Austin Meadows is serving as the designated hitter and drops to the third spot in the lineup.
