Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier (foot) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Kiermaier has a fractured hairline in his right foot after fouling a ball off it on Wednesday. It sounds unlikely that Kiermaier will play again this season. Austin Meadows will bat eighth and play right field versus lefty Thomas Pannone. DFS players can go ahead and avoid Meadows in this one.

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier (back, shoulder) returns to the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the New York Yankees. Kiermaier left Sunday's game after colliding into the wall in the outfield. He sat out on Monday, but appears to be in good enough shape to play on Tuesday. He'll bat seventh and play center field versus righty Luis Severino. Kiermaier does not have enough upside worth owing in DFS contests on Tuesday.
