Cron launched a solo home run in his only at-bat during Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Cron came in to pinch hit for Yoan Lopez in the ninth inning and fired up the Diamondbacks' rally with a solo shot off Wade Davis. Unfortunately, Arizona couldn't get it done this time. Through 21 games, the 26-year-old is batting .233/.277/.605 with four home runs, 11 RBI and eight runs scored. Cron usually takes a back seat to Christian Walker, but it's worth noting that all four of his homers have come in June.

Cron went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer in a 10-3 victory over the Nationals on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Cron entered the game defensively in the bottom of the seventh inning and homered in in the eighth inning off Kyle Barraclough to make the score 8-3. The 26-year-old has not received regular at-bats, but still has three homers in his last six games. Cron has a .237/.286/.579 slash line in just 38 at-bats this year.

Cron is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Cron started in all three games in Toronto over the weekend, but he mostly benefited from the Diamondbacks having an extra spot open for a designated hitter. With Arizona resuming National League play this week, Cron may only be in line for a couple of starts behind top first baseman Christian Walker.

Cron went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo homer in Saturday's win over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Cron has now homered in two straight contests. The Diamondbacks have taken advantage of the weekend series taking place in an AL park by starting both Cron and Christian Walker, alternating the pair between first base and designated hitter. Despite Cron's homers, it's not clear that he's done enough to climb ahead of Walker on the depth chart or to carve out regular at-bats.

Cron went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in an 8-2 victory against the Blue Jays on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Receiving the opportunity to start because of the designated hitter, Cron hit his first homer of the season. Cron is just 5-for-20 (.250) this year, but all five of his hits have gone for extra bases, giving him a .600 slugging percentage. He also has five RBI and four runs across 12 games.

Cron was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Saturday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
He was just sent packing Friday, but Cron is back on the roster as an injury replacement for Blake Swihart (oblique). The 26-year-old Cron wasn't given much of a chance in his prior stint, starting just twice in the span of a week, and it's hard to imagine it'll be much different this time around with the team seemingly intent on sticking with Christian Walker at first base for now.

Cron was optioned to Triple-A Reno ahead of Friday's game.
EDGE Analysis
The Diamondbacks needed a spot for Friday's starter, Jon Duplantier, and Cron was the roster casualty. Cron, the younger brother of Minnesota's C.J. Cron, was never really given much of a chance, as he started all of two games after getting the call last week. If Cron picks up where he left off with Reno (.339/.437/.800, 21 homers), Arizona won't have a choice but to give Cron a longer look later in the season.

Cron is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
When Cron was called up from Triple-A Reno on May 24, there was some thought that he might unseat the scuffling Christian Walker as the Diamondbacks' everyday first baseman. That hasn't materialized, as Cron has been on the bench for five of his first seven games in the big leagues. Cron's power upside makes him worthy of holding in NL-only formats and deeper mixed leagues, but it might be tougher to justify stashing him in shallower settings while he continues to see limited at-bats.

Cron went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a run scored in Wednesday's loss at Coors Field.
EDGE Analysis
Cron was making his second start of the season after getting called up May 24. Wednesday marked his first multiple hit game at the major-league level as he smacked both doubles off starter Jeff Hoffman. The 26-year-old averaged .339/.437/.800 and led all minor-league players with 21 home runs and 62 RBI with Triple-A Reno. He'll have to fight for a secure spot in the lineup, but if Christian Walker continues to slump, the job may be Cron's before long.

Cron is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cron has started one of the Diamondbacks' three games since getting promoted from Triple-A Reno prior to the weekend. The 26-year-old came through with a double and two RBI in Saturday's 10-4 win, but he may need to string together a few quality performances before unseating Christian Walker atop the depth chart at first base. For the time being, look for the two power hitters to split starts.
