The Dodgers recalled Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City ahead of his scheduled start Sunday against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Wrobleski initially looked like he might only be in store for a spot start Sunday, but he could have the opportunity to stick around for a few turns through the rotation after Clayton Kershaw (toe) landed on the injured list Saturday. Over his previous five starts with the big club this season, the rookie southpaw turned in a 4.68 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 18:9 K:BB across 25 innings.

The Dodgers will recall Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Through the first five starts of his MLB career, Wrobleski has put up a 4.68 ERA and 1.20 WHIP alongside an 18:9 K:BB through 25 innings. He's now set to receive another chance to prove he can stick around in a Dodgers rotation that has been plagued with injuries, though he'll have the tough task of facing a Diamondbacks offense that boasts an incredible .850 OPS since the start of August.

Wrobleski was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Wrobleski picked up his first big-league win Friday against the Cardinals, although it was not his best big-league start to date, as he surrendered three home runs in five innings. Bobby Miller will be the latest addition to the rotation, but given all the injuries the Dodgers have suffered, it's possible we see Wrobleski up as a big-league starter again this season.

Wrobleski (1-1) allowed four runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings to earn the win Friday over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Wrobleski gave up all four runs on three home runs, but the Dodgers' rally in the top of the sixth inning allowed him to come away with his first big-league win. He's given up multiple homers in three of his five starts this year. He's at a 4.68 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 18:9 K:BB through 25 innings. It's unclear at this time if Wrobleski will get another start -- he replaced Tyler Glasnow (elbow) on the 26-man roster, but Bobby Miller is expected to be called up to start Saturday and could displace Wrobleski in the process.

The Dodgers recalled Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Wrobleski allowed just two runs in 10 innings over his last two starts in the majors, but he's given up seven runs in 10.1 frames since being sent down to Triple-A at the end of July. Tyler Glasnow (elbow) was placed on the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move, and his absence could allow Wrobleski to stick around for another several turns through the rotation.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM that Wrobleski will start Friday in St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
It looks to be just a spot start for Wrobleski, who has posted a 4.05 ERA and 15:7 K:BB over 20 innings in his first four major-league outings. The Cardinals have struggled mightily versus left-handed pitching this season, making the rookie southpaw an intriguing streaming option.

The Dodgers optioned Wrobleski to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wrobleski did a solid job in his first four major-league starts, posting a 4.05 ERA and 15:7 K:BB over 20 innings. Someone needed to be sent down to make room for trade-deadline pickup Jack Flaherty, however, and the Dodgers have chosen to remove Wrobleski from the five-man rotation rather than fellow rookie River Ryan. The left-hander will rejoin the rotation at Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he's allowed five runs with a 17:3 K:BB across 10.1 frames this season.

Wrobleski allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out two batters over 5.2 innings in a no-decision against Houston on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Wrobleski cruised through five frames, holding the Astros scoreless on two hits. He then allowed consecutive singles to begin the sixth but rebounded to retire the next pair of batters before Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts decided to pull the southpaw after a modest 82 pitches. That decision didn't work out well for the Dodgers, as Evan Phillips came in an surrendered four consecutive singles, allowing both inherited runners plus two more to score. Wrobleski later lost the opportunity for his first big-league victory when Houston put up two runs in the eighth frame. Despite the disappointing outcome for the rookie, his start was promising overall, as he tossed a career-high 5.2 frames and came within one out of a quality start. With James Paxton's recent release, Wrobleski has a good chance of sticking in the rotation even when Walker Buehler (hip) returns from the injured list.

Wrobleski did not factor into the decision in a win over the Red Sox on Saturday, allowing three hits and two walks over 4.1 scoreless innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Wrobleski fanned three of the first five batters he faced but struggled with his command throughout his 4.1 innings of work. The rookie threw only eight of his 17 first pitches for strikes and reached 83 pitches overall before being relieved by Yohan Ramirez in the fifth. On a positive note, Wrobleski induced 15 whiffs in the contest and hasn't allowed more than five hits in any of his first three starts to open the campaign. Saturday also marked the first scoreless outing for the lefty this season, though he's now allowed two walks in three straight.

Wrobleski did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 11-9 extra-inning loss to the Tigers, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Wrobleski allowed two runs in the second inning and then two more on back-to-back homers to open the fifth. He generated only six swinging strikes on 84 pitches while leaning mostly on his fastball and slider. The rookie has surrendered eight runs (seven earned) and four long balls through his first two starts and his role moving forward depends on the health of the Dodgers' rotation after the All-Star break.
