Wilson (elbow) threw off a mound Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Monday's session apparently went off without a hitch and marked Wilson's first time throwing off a mound since landing on the injured list last week. While it doesn't sound like the southpaw will be ready to return when first eligible Tuesday, he could be activated later in the week.

Wilson (elbow) resumed throwing Saturday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson threw off flat ground without issues but has yet to get back on a mound. He's eligible to return Tuesday and is expected to spend just a short time on the injured list, but he could need at least a few days more than the minimum.

The Mets are hopeful that Wilson (elbow) will be ready to return from the 10-day injured list when first eligible April 29, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson was shut down Monday after experiencing stiffness in his left elbow, but an MRI cleared him of any structural damage. The Mets are optimistic that Wilson will only need a few days of rest to overcome the elbow issue, so he should be ready to throw again by the weekend. He's not expected to require a rehab assignment before returning from the IL.

Wilson was placed on the 10-day injured list with elbow soreness, Mike Mazzeo of Yahoo sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson had an MRI, which revealed no major issues, though it's not clear when he's expected to return. He'll make way on the 25-man roster for Todd Frazier (oblique), who was activated off the injured list in a corresponding move.

Wilson gave up a hit and a walk without recording an out in Friday's win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Entering a 5-3 game in the eighth inning with a runner on second base and one out, Wilson promptly gave up an infield single to Dexter Fowler -- with the runner coming home on J.D. Davis' throwing error -- before uncorking a wild pitch that put Fowler at third, and then walking Kolten Wong. Robert Gsellman then replaced the southpaw and put out the fire. Wilson has a 3.24 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 8:4 K:BB through 8.1 innings with a win, a save and a hold in nine appearances, and his role as the top lefty in the Mets' bullpen gives him some minor fantasy appeal in NL-only formats.

Wilson allowed one hit and struck out one across 1.2 scoreless innings to earn the save Tuesday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson was brought in with the bases loaded and one out in the eighth inning and induced a groundout and strikeout to close the frame with limited damage. He then remained in for the ninth inning to pick up the save, but not without allowing two runners to reach base. Wilson's save chances are likely to be few and far between this season, with this chance coming after Edwin Diaz threw 29 pitches on Monday.

Wilson gave up a run on two hits while striking out one over an inning of work in Thursday's Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
A free-agent signing this offseason, the 31-year-old is expected to be the Mets' top left-handed set-up man in 2019. While Wilson's 6:0 K:BB through five spring innings is sharp, he's also given up six runs on 10 hits, including two homers. A 10.80 ERA in mid-March doesn't mean anything in the long run, but fantasy GMs looking for Wilson to provide holds and strikeouts this year would be reassured by a couple of clean outings before camp breaks.

Wilson signed a contract with the Mets on Friday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson spent the last season and a half with the Cubs and posted a 3.86 ERA and 1.59 WHIP over 72.1 innings. The 31-year-old's 6.5 BB/9 is somewhat concerning, but his 3.4 BB/9 over the previous five seasons could mean that's an anomoly. According to Jon Heyman of FancredSports.com, it's a two-year deal worth $10 million. Wilson helps solidify the Mets bullpen and should serve as the top left-handed option in front of closer Edwin Diaz.

Wilson figures to move up in the bullpen pecking order and could get some save opportunities with Pedro Strop (hamstring) expected to miss a few weeks.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson has had a nice season to date, compiling a 2.92 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 67 strikeouts across 52.1 innings. As the top lefty in Chicago's bullpen, Wilson is likely to be used whenever the matchups are most advantageous rather than in a strict ninth-inning role, but he could still get a few saves here and there down the stretch. Steve Cishek, Carl Edwards Jr. and Brandon Kintzler also profile as potential replacements for Strop.

Wilson (4-4) took the loss and a blown save in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Nationals, allowing a run on a hit and a walk while retiring two batters.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson and Steve Cishek combined to make a mess of the bottom of the seventh. Cishek started the frame by allowing two hits and recording just one out. The Cubs then turned to Wilson to face Bryce Harper in a lefty-lefty matchup with a runner on second, and Harper proceeded to club a two-run home run that put Washington up 6-5. Despite the hiccup, Wilson still has a solid 2.98 ERA this season, and he should remain the top left-handed option in Chicago's bullpen.
