Turner (ankle) was spotted on the field prior to Friday's game against the Rockies taking part in pregame activities, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner remains out of the starting lineup Friday, but this is the first time this week that he's been able to take the field with his teammates for pregame work. He'll likely be re-evaluated prior to Saturday's matchup.

Turner (ankle) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Turner was able to go through stretching exercises Wednesday, according to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, but he is not ready to return to action just yet. The Dodgers will have a team off day Thursday, and there's a chance Turner could be back in the lineup when the club returns to action Friday night.

Turner (ankle) is unlikely to start against the Rays on Wednesday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner has now missed eight straight games with a sore ankle, though he did indicate Tuesday that he is "getting better every day," per Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times. The decision to sit him out again Wednesday makes perfect sense for a team that has already wrapped up the National League West and has an off-day Thursday. Chances are good that Turner will be back in the lineup Friday, though Los Angeles won't push the issue as they have plenty of time to get the 34-year-old back into the fold by the start of the postseason.

Turner (ankle) isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Turner will be held out for at least one more contest due to a sprained left ankle. There was hope that he would return to the starting lineup Tuesday, but skipper Dave Roberts stated after Sunday's victory that his starting third baseman's ankle was still sore. Chris Taylor draws the start at third base and will bat third.

Dodgers' manager Dave Roberts reported after their win Sunday that Turner (ankle) may actually not end up starting Tuesday because his left ankle is still sore, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Earlier in the day Sunday, it sounded as though Turner was all set to return to the Dodgers' starting lineup Tuesday but he's still having some trouble with his sprained left ankle. He's expected to be evaluated Monday during the Dodgers' off-day and manager Dave Roberts will make a corresponding decision on his status for Tuesday's game. With the Dodgers already having clinched a division title and on their way to clinching the best record in the National League, there is no rush to bring Turner back and risk further injury.

Turner (ankle) is expected to start Tuesday in the series opener against Tampa Bay after missing a week with a left ankle sprain, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner, who has not played since September 7 as he has been nursing a mildly sprained ankle, is expected back Tuesday against the Rays. The Dodgers already have the division and the best overall record in the national league locked up and do not have an overwhelmingly difficult schedule to end the season. With that being said, Turner may rest more than he's used to in order to get him to full strength for the playoffs. The Dodgers have plenty of depth all around the infield and should not try and risk their star third baseman's health. Blake Snell (elbow) is in line to start Tuesday as he makes his return from the injured list which could serve as a tough matchup for Turner and company.

Turner (ankle) has been ruled out for the Dodgers' weekend series against the Mets, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner has been day-to-day with a mild left ankle sprain, and after being held out of Friday's lineup, the Dodgers announced that the All-Star third baseman won't take the field at all over the weekend. He could have a chance to return beginning Tuesday at home against Tampa Bay.

Turner (ankle) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Mets, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Dave Roberts said Thursday he didn't believe Turner would start Friday's series opener, so it's no surprise to see him out of the lineup. The veteran third baseman was confirmed to be dealing with a mild left ankle sprain after undergoing an MRI and X-rays this week, and he could return to action later during this weekend's series against the Mets. Matt Beaty receives another start at the hot corner in his absence.

An MRI revealed Turner is dealing with a mild left ankle sprain, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is encouraging news for Turner, who has been sidelined since Saturday due to the issue. While the veteran third baseman is being considered day-to-day, the Dodgers can afford to be patient with him seeing as the team has already locked up the NL West. Matt Beaty is covering the hot corner in his stead Thursday. According to David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, manager Dave Roberts said he isn't ruling Turner out for the team's upcoming series against the Mets, though the skipper doesn't believe he'll play in Friday's series opener.
