Turner went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a 5-3 victory versus the Cubs on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Turner knocked one of four Dodgers homers in the contest, going deep to center field in the fourth inning. The long ball was his fourth in his past eight games after he swatted only four through his first 69 contests of the season. Turner has reached base safely in nine straight contests and is slashing .500/.529/.900 with eight RBI in addition to the four home runs over that stretch.

Turner went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Monday's 5-3 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Turner's three hits were all singles. The third baseman has six games with three or more hits this year, and three of them have come in his last 11 contests. In that span, he's batting .395 (15-for-38). His surge at the plate has lifted his season slash line to .238/.308/.390 with seven home runs, 43 RBI, 36 runs scored, 20 doubles and a stolen base through 305 plate appearances. His average hasn't been this high since April 18, but it looks like Turner may be working his way out of a prolonged run of mediocrity.

Turner went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Turner knocked a solo shot for the Dodgers' third homer in the first inning. He added a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning. The third baseman has five multi-hit efforts in his last 11 games, going 13-for-37 (.351) in that span. It's a not-too-unfamiliar hot stretch for Turner, but his season slash line is at .229/.300/.385 after a cold first half of the campaign. He's added seven homers, 43 RBI, 35 runs scored, a stolen base and 20 doubles through 72 contests, though he's certainly trending in the right direction.

Turner went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs and three total RBI in Thursday's 3-1 victory against San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
Padres starter Joe Musgrove mostly shut down Dodgers hitters in the contest, but he couldn't contain Turner, who notched his first multi-homer game of the season. All three of Los Angeles' runs came by way of Turner long balls, as the veteran went deep in the second inning and again in the seventh. He's still well below his career norms with a .227/.298/.375 slash line and just six homers through 70 contests on the campaign, but his power has come in spurts at times in the past, so he'll look to build on Thursday's performance.

Turner isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Turner will get a day off after he went 3-for-17 with three RBI, a run, a stolen base, two walks and four strikeouts over the last five games. Max Muncy is serving as the designated hitter while Eddy Alvarez starts at third base.

Turner went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a run in a 10-5 win against the Reds on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Los Angeles pummeled Cincinnati pitching for 16 hits in the contest, and Turner was one of four Dodgers to tally three base knocks. Two of his hits went for doubles, giving him four two-baggers over his past five games. Though he's hit only four homers this season, Turner is up to 20 doubles, putting him on pace to easily surpass his single-season career-high mark in the category.

Turner had his hamstring tighten up Saturday, which is why he is starting at designated hitter Sunday against the Mets, Sarah Wexler of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The issue is apparently very minor, and Turner is no stranger to getting starts at designated hitter anyway (21 appearances so far this season). Eddy Alvarez is starting at third base and hitting eighth.

Turner is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner will take a seat after he went 7-for-21 with four doubles, a walk and four runs while starting in each of the Dodgers' last five games. Edwin Rios spells Turner at third base in the series finale.

Turner went 4-for-4 with two doubles in Saturday's 3-2 victory versus the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Turner had been cold coming into the contest, going 3-for-22 over his previous five games. The veteran turned things around with his second four-hit performance of the campaign, which included a pair of doubles. Turner raised his average 20 points to .224 with the effort, though his .666 OPS remains disappointing in comparison to his career body of work.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated recently that Turner will spend more time as designated hitter while Max Muncy sees more work at third base moving forward, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though Turner has been playing better of late, he hasn't hit to his usual standards so far this season, slashing just .207/.265/.364 with four homers through 140 at-bats. Muncy has struggled even more, slashing just .157/.327/.276 with three homers in 154 plate appearances. Roberts suggested that the change is meant to help both veterans settle into a consistent role, likely in the hope that such a move will jumpstart their bats. "I think getting each of those guys more accustomed to a certain role, I think ultimately could be beneficial," Roberts stated.
