Bour is out of the lineup on Wednesday after sitting out Tuesday's game, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bour will be sitting out his second straight game since the Marlins are facing another southpaw from the Dodgers' rotation. He will be replaced by Chris Johnson at first base, who is slotted at seventh in the lineup. Throughout the 2016 season, Bour has only five at-bats against left-handers while earning 54 at-bats against right-handers.

Bour is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Don Mattingly is looking to get as many right-handed bats into the lineup Tuesday to gain a platoon advantage against the dominant southpaw, Clayton Kershaw. As such, Chris Johnson will take Bour's spot at first base Tuesday but Bour will be available off the bench and figures to rejoin the lineup before the end of the series. That said, the Dodgers will start lefty Scott Kazmir on Wednesday, so Bour could be out of the lineup the next two nights.

Bour went 2-for-3 with a homer, two RBI, two runs and a walk Saturday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Bour's first bomb of the season brought the Marlins within two runs in the sixth inning of a game they'd go on to lose. He's now hit safely in seven of his eight games while raising his batting average to .333.

Bour is out of the lineup Monday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Bour has gotten off to a decent start this season, belting three doubles in the first week, but he'll get the day off with left-hander Steven Matz going for New York. Chris Johnson will slot in at first base in his place.

Bour went 2-for-3 with an RBI double and one run scored Sunday in a loss against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Bour is off to a solid 3-for-7 start in Grapefruit League action as he looks to earn an everyday spot in the Marlins' Opening Day lineup. If he continues to impress during the exhibition season, Bour has a chance to open the season batting fifth for the Marlins, a position that could leave him plenty of run producing opportunities directly following Christian Yelich and Giancarlo Stanton in the lineup. Bour's work against left-handed pitching will be of particular note through March after he batted just .221/.279/.294 in limited action against southpaws last season.

Bour will get a chance to prove himself as an everyday player in 2016, the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bour clobbered 23 home runs in 446 plate appearances during his first extended action in Miami, but notably struggled with a .221/.279/.294 slash line in 68 at bats against left-handed pitching. New manager, Don Mattingly, is willing to give the 27-year-old slugger a clean slate heading into 2016, however, and does not plan to platoon Bour out of the gates. If the team does decide to sit Bour against tougher lefties, Chris Johnson -- a .326 hitter against left-handed pitching in 2015 -- could see a boost in playing time at first base.

Bour went 1-for-3 with a two-run double in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Claiming the Marlins' everyday first base job after lackluster performance from Michael Morse, Bour posted impressive power numbers in his first full season. Now riding a 9-for-27 streak, and boasting a .479 slugging percentage, Bour has cemented his role in the heart of Miami's lineup next season.

Bour remains out of the lineup for a second consecutive game.
EDGE Analysis
Bour had played in the previous 22 games prior to Friday, so his absence in these last two games is a little surprising. However nothing official has been announced regarding any potential injury so it appears to just be a bit of rest for the 27-year-old as the season winds to a close. Casey McGehee will take over at first base and hit sixth in the lineup.

Bour mashed a pair of home runs in Sunday's win over the Braves, driving in three RBI on the day.
EDGE Analysis
The red-hot rookie is finishing his season with a bang. Bour has gone deep in three straight games and four of his last five contests. Sunday's multi-homer effort was Bour's first of his career as he bumped his season total up to 23 to go along with 71 RBI over 424 plate appearances. Bour's strong September (.304/.337/.620) will go a long way towards earning him the opportunity to open 2016 as the Marlins' regular first baseman.

Bour went 2-for-3 with a homer, two RBI and a walk in Saturday's 6-2 victory over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Atlanta pitching has brought Bour's bat to life, with the 27-year-old hitting .625 (5-for-8) with two homers, five RBI and three runs scored in the first two games of the series. Bour now has seven round-trippers in September to go along with a remarkable 22 RBI, on the heels of back-to-back 16 RBI months in July and August. The young first baseman has proven to be an offensive revelation and power source for the Marlins in a season that has seen Giancarlo Stanton miss the last three months with a worrisome hand injury. After hitting only one homer in his initial 74 major-league at-bats last season, Bour has slugged 21 gopher balls and amassed a .474 slugging percentage and .800 OPS in the 2015 campaign.
