EDGE Analysis
Starting at DH and batting fifth, Yepez took Jose Berrios deep in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old continues to prove he belongs in the majors, and through his first 18 big-league games, he's slashing .304/.377/.522 with four homers, seven RBI and 13 runs.

Yepez is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Mets, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Yepez went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a 10-1 victory versus the Orioles on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Though St. Louis scored 10 runs in the rout, Yepez's second-inning solo shot was the only homer of the contest. The long ball was the second of the rookie's career and extended his hitting streak to seven games to begin his big-league tenure. Yepez has been a revelation thus far, slashing .444/.483/.778 through 29 plate appearances. He has been one of the season's top pickups in fantasy.

Yepez went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Yepez got the Cardinals on the board with a two-run blast in the second inning and later scored again in the sixth. The 24-year-old's MLB career is off to a terrific start. He's 9-for-19 with four extra-base hits in his first five career games. As long as he's swinging a hot bat, Yepez should continue seeing regular playing time.

Yepez will bat fifth and serve as the designated hitter Saturday against San Francisco.
EDGE Analysis
Yepez will be making his fourth straight start since getting called up for his major-league debut Wednesday. His first start came in right field, but the last three have come at the designated hitter spot, where Corey Dickerson (.439 OPS) and Albert Pujols (.695 OPS) had opened the year in a rather uninspiring platoon. Yepez has five hits, including three doubles, through his first three major-league games, and he's likely to keep earning chances as long as he keeps hitting.

Yepez went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and a run scored in Wednesday's 10-0 win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Yepez earned the promotion to the majors after swatting nine home runs in 22 games to start the season at Triple-A Memphis. He wasn't able to leave the yard in his major-league debut, but the two doubles are an early illustration of his power. He'll be a depth option at the corner infield and corner outfield positions while he's up with the Cardinals. Yepez's best chance at playing time could be in right field, where Dylan Carlson has struggled to start the year.
