Fuentes went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Fuentes had a double in the third inning, but couldn't come around to score. He got aboard again on an infield single in the fifth and scored on Elias Diaz's homer. Fuentes then added insurance with a sacrifice fly to plate Nolan Arenado in the sixth. In limited time, Fuentes has been effective -- he's slashing .340/.353/.511 with a homer, seven RBI, seven runs scored and a stolen base in 17 games this season.

Fuentes went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Fuentes went deep off Dodgers starter Julio Urias in the second inning, giving the Rockies their first lead of the game. The homer was Fuentes' first of the year, to go with six RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base in 11 games. He's slashing .370/.400/.593 over 30 plate appearances -- if he can keep it up, he could see more playing time.

Fuentes was recalled from the Rockies' alternate training site prior to Thursday's game against the Astros, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fuentes almost never plays, even when he's in the majors, and that should remain the case for as long as Daniel Murphy and Nolan Arenado are healthy. Chris Owings and David Dahl are on the injured list, so the Rockies wanted an extra bench bat.

Fuentes was optioned to the Rockies' alternate site Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
He made the 30-man roster but has not been in the lineup once, so this move was not a surprise. Fuentes would need one or two injuries ahead of him at either corner infield spot to have a shot at notable playing time.

Fuentes was added to the Rockies' 30-man roster Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Fuentes improved at first base over the offseason and impressed enough during spring training and summer camp to earn a spot in the majors to begin the season. After appearing in 24 games for the Rockies last season, Fuentes could see some playing time against left-handed pitching on occasion to give Daniel Murphy some rest. However, the team has much more invested in Murphy, so he should see the majority of playing time, even against southpaws.

Fuentes was pushing for a spot on the 26-man roster prior to spring training getting put on hold, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The younger cousin of Nolan Arenado, Fuentes showed budding defensive versatility and hit .300 with zero extra-base hits, zero walks and five strikeouts in 31 plate appearances this spring. He could provide a right-handed bat off the bench, occasionally starting over lefty Daniel Murphy at first base while also getting rare starts at third base. Fuentes worked a lot this spring to become a better defender at first base and he makes for a natural platoon partner with Murphy, although the latter's contract and status will still likely keep him in the lineup against plenty of left-handed pitchers.

Fuentes went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Fuentes stole third base as part of a double-steal with Yonathan Daza in the second inning. It's the first career stolen base for the 26-year-old, who is hitting .216/.216/.412 with three homers, six RBI and eight runs scored over 51 plate appearances.

Fuentes went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Fuentes put an end to Dodgers starter Walker Buehler's outing with a solo shot to lead off the seventh inning. It's the third homer of the year for Fuentes, who has hit .200/.200/.486 with six RBI and six runs scored over 35 at-bats this season, primarily in an off-the-bench role. He showed decent power with 17 homers in 101 games with Triple-A Albuquerque this year.

Fuentes went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, four RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 10-5 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie infielder broke the game open with his three-run shot in the seventh inning, giving Colorado an 8-3 lead. Fuentes entered this contest with just three hits in his first 24 MLB at-bats but doubled that total Sunday with three more, including his second career homer.

Fuentes was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Fuentes made his big-league debut earlier this season, though he's just 2-for-18 with two runs scored over nine games with the Rockies. He figures to see more opportunities down the stretch of the 2019 campaign, especially with Colorado out of the postseason picture.
