Naylor went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 4-1 victory over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
After German Marquez walked Jose Ramirez with two outs, Naylor hit a two-run blast in the first inning to give the Guardians an early lead. He hit the ball hard in his second plate appearance, but Kris Bryant flagged it down on a nice play in right field. Naylor singled his third time up, giving him five multi-hit games this season, but struck out with the bases loaded in the seventh. He continues to split time between first base and designated hitter and is starting to heat up again, hits in four of his last five starts, after a string of just one hit and five walks over his previous 39 plate appearances.

Naylor went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor had gone an abysmal 2-for-37 over his previous 11 games, though he had a reasonable 5:6 BB:K in that span. The first baseman's steal Sunday was his first of the season. Despite a .185/.267/.277 slash line over 75 plate appearances, Naylor has maintained a regular role between first base and designated hitter so far. He's added two home runs, nine RBI and four runs scored in 19 contests.

Naylor is out of the lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
The Tigers are throwing lefty Matthew Boyd in the first game and southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez in the nightcap. The lefty-hitting Naylor has made just one start against a left-hander this season but could get a shot in the second game. Gabriel Arias is handling first base in the first contest.

Naylor isn't in the lineup Wednesday versus Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
With left-hander Kyle Muller starting for the Athletics, Jose Ramirez moves to designated hitter and Gabriel Arias plays third base while Naylor sits. Naylor has gone 6-for-21 with two home runs, five RBI and a pair of walks to begin the season.

Naylor went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and two walks in Monday's 12-11 extra-inning win over the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor is 6-for-17 with two homers and four RBI over five games this season. His walks Monday were his first free passes of the campaign. Naylor has hit fifth in the four contests he's started, three of which have come at first base. It looks like he can coexist with Josh Bell occupying the designated-hitter role. The Guardians' ability to consistently get on base should provide plenty of chances for Naylor to rack up RBI.

Naylor is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor homered in the victory over the Mariners on Saturday, but the first baseman will get a day of rest against southpaw Marco Gonzales for the series finale. Josh Bell will handle first base for the contest, with Gabriel Arias getting his first start of the year at third.

Naylor went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 2-0 win against Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor's fourth-inning, 430-foot solo shot produced one of just two runs in the pitching-dominant game. The long ball was his first of the campaign following a career-best 20-homer performance last season. Naylor has gone 3-for-12 with a pair of RBI through his first three games in 2023.

Naylor has gone 6-for-26 (.231) through 10 Cactus League games.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor opted out of representing Canada at the World Baseball Classic to avoid aggravating his ankle, but he's seen plenty of playing time in spring training. The 25-year-old established himself with a .256/.319/.452 slash line, 20 home runs, 79 RBI, 47 runs scored and six stolen bases over 122 games last season. He's the Guardians' top first baseman this season, though Naylor and Josh Bell will likely share the duties at first base and designated hitter for much of the season.
